1)Probably can't, but don't see any need as the phone comes with an 8GB external memory card, and you can always buy 16GB (for about US$30) or even 32GB...unless you have plenty of video files, otherwise from my experice 8GB is good enough for many songs and photos already. (and you probably won't have time with the Android experience.

My question to milestone2 users please tells about internet web browser.Does internet browser run window media vedio& audio files? I intrested to buy now days i have nokia n900 & n900 does not run window media files,please..........Reply this.

Can anyone comment on the keyboard of Milestone 2? I have the first Milestone in my hands now and I want to upgrade it just because of internal memory and the keyboard - which is a nightmare. Could anyone comment on the keyboard please. Is it good or bad? Is typing fast on it possible without pains? thanks

Bought this phone yesterday and i have contradictory opinions. Generaly, phone has good quality, it is fast, but i found the following drawbacks:
1. Display is worst than iphone's
2. Baterry life is very bad. Half a day with wifi on
3. When i keep my phone connected on 3g for pushemail i cannot take calls anymore. The caller gets the user unaivable message. It works 1 min and then doen't work for 5 min. It is really anoying. I will send it back tomorow. Did anybody had this problem?
I was expecting much more from this phone. Iphone is far from the ideal phone, but it works better than milestone. I am taking out of compairison htc, samsung and se because i don.t like them. Nokia is years behind.

Original milestone was excellent quality but let down by internal storage limitations which this phone seems to have resolved. Let's just hope Motorola do a better job of keeping the O/S up to date than they have done with the original.

chris, 31 Jan 2011m2 in south africa not happening anytime soon, from what I ... moreThat's a shame Chris, MTN said they'd call me this week to let me know when they'll be getting the M2, I'm still waiting for that call. I wish I had other means of getting it, or the DROID Pro. SA networks need to keep up with the rest of the world! Seriously!

Im looking to buy one, and im still a bit unsure if io wanna go for this or the desire hd.
What do you guys think about the phone you guys have? any dramas?
Ive currently got the iphone 3g - had it for just under three years, looking to get rid of it, anything you guys can say would be really appreciated,

jammy, 28 Jan 2011Well nice review by team GSMARENA.... This phone is really ... moreWhat's the deal about front cam? Why almost nobody said anything when Moto first offered front cam as early as 2004? Moto "had been" offering front cam all these years but nobody seemed to say anything....
Until the day where most users already forgot about such feature, all of the sudden Mr. Jobs said everybody needs one. Then all the discussion started to pop out...
To be honest, in the past 6 years or so, how many people have you seen using video call? Or even the fruity phone alone, how many you saw "stood" around a wifi hotspot (not sure wifi on bus / ferry / plane works) and used Facetime? NONE in my observation.
Not that I don't like video call, though Steve was the one who took it away with fruity 3G and now he says everybody needs one in fruity 4...yikes, I don't want to be dictated.
For 8GB internal memory to store apps. Currently I've Milestone 1 and the biggest issue is insufficient internal memory, why everything else can't be stored on external memory? External memory is getting cheap these days...I can get a 16GB card for about US$30. But can I "upgrade" the internal memory for my Milestone even for US$300? The answer is "NO", I need to spend US$500+ for a Milestone 2.

m2 in south africa not happening anytime soon, from what I heard, the networks haven't even tested the handset yet... its always the same story... but judging by the new range coming from MOTO they will have to start soon... cause motorola is coming back in a BIG way. Somebody organized me a M2 and i think it might be with 2.3 on i hope... should be getting it this week
