The planned upgrade has happened, my handset (Retail India) has received the android 5.1.1... Performance is satisfactory while keeping in my tye low specs, specifically the on board storage. .

I am also having a problem with phone overheating and storage issues as well even though I put most of my apps on my sd card. My phone is showing me I only have 2gigs memory when I should have 4. Really not happy with this phone because of these problems.

Updated to Android L v5.1 two months back
Phone runs really fine with 5.1L, but it occupies maximum Internal storage.
So I recommend not to update for Android 5.1.

Last year,i bought this Moto E phone, last week Lolli pop updates have received once proceeded on this mobile got switch off. after it didnt switch on, gave into service center,they updated that board has gone its cost around 4400rs. so i suggest u all dont go for Moto

moto e best phone...suitable..kitkat version...don't upgrade lolipop..battrey quickly drained..and hanging problem..friends plz don't upgrade lolipop

My Moto E XT1021 is failing to switch on wireless or bluetooth. What can I do? Secondly, the pop up that Gloogle Seetings have stopped working are preventing me from accessing the internet. How can I have this repaired?
