So finally Moto team accept this OTG issue , and they assure this will be rectified in future update, so it's a software issue but they didn't tell when the update will be aired.

It may play simple games, but for graphics intensive games and apps, this is not recommended.
Plus mediatek SoC are not good for graphics performance.

Please understand, this is a low end offering.

Laksh, 22 Oct 2016I got my replacement, it had scratches. It was refurbished.... moreSamsung j3 is much better than this unstable junk., But forget about gaming and one more request to all if Facebook ia must to u, install Facebook lite, but the Main app is a big battery drainer and hanger.

Regarding Volte signal J3 is very stable (my friend's secondary), yesterday Moto e3 Volte signal is very unstable, for that I re-start then it's ok, it seems like we should restart this junky phone daily 5 times to work.

Stay happy for a while with Samsung.

Last one of my friend's one year Lenovo Vibe S got malfunctioned, so better stay no to Lenovo or Moto.

Had scratches on the metal rail around the phone. It also had a blown out speaker. So i asked for a refund. The exchange amount was given as gift card which i was able to use, rest was transferred into my bank account.
Moto E3 was my secondary phone, though many here are saying that OTG is not that big a issue, well you may be right. But I'm picky and i didn't like the fact that it had issues in it.
I may go with a Samsung phone now, lets see how that holds up.

aatif khan, 22 Oct 2016Ha ha ha In short it is a case of burning fingers in bill... moreAlso Flipkart is not ready to Give a new replacement.,only refurbished I don't know what kind of deal is this?

We asking replacement , they agreed, again a refurbished they sending and then a refund. So it means they just want to hold our money for approx 30 days.

The defective product sent to manufacturer.

30 days all over India, how many replacements, how much they hold....watta an idea sir ji :-) simply mind blowing

AnonD-596417, 22 Oct 2016Samsung is having maximum number of service centres , so do... morePlease understand before you argue.

Automobiles are mechanical components which get wear and tear with use. This needs regular servicing and maintenance.

But mobile phones are not mechanical devices. They are digital instruments, with few mechanical parts ( buttons for power, volume) for this setting up service centre at every corner is not viable.

Samsung can afford doing it coz mobile is not the only consumer product it offers. It needs service centres for its other products. In that case ,even if mobile is seperate division, they find it easy to set up one for mobile. Plus most of basic components like touch screen, memory chips, ram, battery, SoC are manufactured in-house and are readily available.hence they have it.

OPPO, VIVO and Gionee are all dependent on other vendors. Plus they charge for setting up their authorised centres. Then it becomes franchise owner headache to keep the minimum stock of spares at any given time.

In this way O,V and G make money. Plus they know the quality and that is why they allow for franchise stores. Logic is simple - in case of defects, service centre guy has to deal with available resources. Actual company may never be bothered what happened. Service centre guy wants to recover investment. This is their business model. But we people are happy by thinking- wow they care for customers.

We Indians run when something is available at lower rates. That is why ringing bell / freedom phone scam happens.

Nothing is free in this world. We pay the price, either at one time or in instalments.

AnonD-596417, 22 Oct 2016Just FYI my 1st phone is Nokia 5110 cont with 3310,6680,N73... moreHa ha ha
In short it is a case of burning fingers in billion sale.

OK but that is not their fault. It's our fault that we didn't understand- nothing is free.

Now don't get much fascinated by billion sale and move on in life. Take it as a lesson.
