Please understand, no phone is perfect. Even iphone and Pixel are not perfect.Only a user should know how to use it perfectly, based on his requirements.

Open forums have 2 types of people- one are those who knows what is good and enjoy the benefits and second are those who keep finding what is bad and are always crying. You decide which one you want to be.

Even Samsung flagship- Note 7 had issues and they immediately discontinued. Now will you stop buying Samsung products??

Everything comes with a price tag.
Please understand E is economy and lower end offerings of Motorola. G is mid range and X/Z are top of the line offerings. Due to its brand value, Motorola handsets will be bit costly when compared to Xiaomi, though hardware may be similar.

Nobody forced you to buy but rather it was your choice of buying Moto ( and not Xiaomi). Now your problem is - you are comparing low end high branded phone with phone of emerging brand having tons of features.
Because of its brand value you have high expectations from a low end phone by Motorola.it will never be fulfilled.

I think you should opt for Micromax, Xolo,Lava, infocus brands.they will give you tons of features at a very affordable prices. And I guarantee, you will still have problems.

    Let's go by statistics....
    Rating on Flipkart
    E3 power - 5,4,3,2,1 star rating - 22323,11535,3558,1407,3140....
    Redmi 3S - 19716,8680,2870,1196,2805

    Statistics says ...11.3% rates 3s prime as negative (1star+2star) compared to 10.8% rates negative to E3 power.
    If we consider only 1star 8% 3s & 7.5% e3 power negative rating respectively.

    So you think Redmi 3s is better than e3 power, where as these statistics say exactly reverse.
    More % people are dissatisfied with Redmi 3s.
    Major issue with Redmi 3s ratings are, excessive heating, poor camera, bootloop, second sim poor signal etc etc. (Reviews say , not me)

    So you think xiomi has better quality control.

    Go ahead buy Redmi 3s & Pray to God that u will get perfect phone. If not again post it's negative reviews on forum.

    No brand, no phone is perfect...

    It's people tendency to always criticise & find fault in everything & everyone.

      Now I can understand LENOVO DON'T HAVE A QUALITY CONTROL department.

      In some other forum ppl having this battery charging problem without this OTG issue.

      So i'am fed-up and I made my mind, if my replaced product is refurbished or having otg issue., I will definitely demand a refund and go 4 Redmi 3s prime.

      No more LENOVO OR MOTO

                    Yes but that's Lenovo's Greediness , using cheap MEDIATEK processor , cutting costs and making more profit by using MOTO fame.

                        In my opinion, the OTG issue doesn't look like a hardware issue since it is rectified with a restart (a software reset). But still that doesn't answer how it is working for other handsets with same build. Persinally, I have never seen any Moto E3 without this OTG issue.

                        And I specifically chose to buy this because I am a frequent OTG user. Imagine restarting your laptop every time after connecting to a pen drive.

                        So, it looks like we are left at the mercy of lenovo, who may or may not fix this through OTA upgrade (I have raised it on lenovo moto forum). But I am never going to put my handset in hands of the service center guys (we all know what they are capable of) and I don't have any spare mobile till the time service center decides to return.

                        Till then live with it! I am done with wasting time, energy and money already.

                            One of my friend's Samsung led TV speakers didn't work suddenly , be he bought creative 2.1 speakers used it for next two weeks.

                            But suddenly one day TV got switched off automatically and its dead.

                            The service person said if u called us at the time of ur speakers failure, we would saved ur motherboard.

                            So the moral is a scare in ur leg may lead to life death.

                            And more important thing is it's my hard-earned money, there is no wrong to expect a perfect phone for what I pay.

                                  Dont buy it. Moto is dead. LEnovo is using lenovo's name. Very disappointed. 2gb RAM is only in the spec, not in quality.

                                    Check jio website, this handset is compatible.flipkart very specifically mentions about jio scheme for this handset.

                                    regarding speakers, please understand this is a phone not a media player for music and movies. If you expect Dolby digital output from this, then you are terriblly wrong. Its primary purpose and priority is calls,messages and emails. Everything else is secondary.

                                      Phone supports 32 GB of SD card.it's more than enough. But on that people also want to have OTG.
                                      plus they even know that for transfer and data sharing, they can even connect to a computer.
                                      Yet they still cry for otg feature.

                                        It looks like people can't live without OTG now a days.... funniest part people they r replacing handset for such small bug as if handset is dead w/o OTG...
                                        Dil mange more in cheap price....
