Your neighbour sells Xiaomi in his shop?not possible.
Amongst all the Chinese mobiles I have seen, Xiaomi, Huawei, One+ have decent build and functioning.
Also, other brands like OPPO,VIVO,GIONEE have their local authorised shop in every corner these days.these shops also serve as service centre. This arrangement is coz O,V and G knows that their phones will need frequent servicing ( quality issues) But people think - oh wow they have service centre,affordable phones with tons of features and feel good about it.without realising that this setup is deliberate.
And above all, these shop owners specifically discourage people opting for online brands, as it makes them loose their business of brands they keep.
I am using mobile phones since 1999. Till now I had to visit a service centre only once for my Micromax (my first and last handset from them). Apart from that I have never had to visit any service centre.

Usually, when headsets are inserted, phones considers it as a hands free profile mode ( like normal mode,meeting mode etc). And when you turn on the speaker, headsets go mute.
Are you using original headsets provided with phone? Try to use original accessories of the manufacturer, coz they are well calibrated with their products. Using other accessories sometimes create problems.

Let'... moreMy neighbour who is a smartphone seller points out to me to avoid redmi 3 as it have serious build quality issue. Tons of them got returned for variety of problems.
But he also points out that redmi 3 note is mostly fine and the recommended one among the two.

Got a message my replacement is arriving today, in negative reviews more than OTG issue , low volume ear speakers problem is big., Thank God I don't have that.
Planned to get refund and buy a oppo a37 in a retail outlet, what's ur suggestion?

Actually i'am a kind of person who is in roaming & sometimes at browsing centres I take printouts. So OTG is a must feature for me.
Some other guy in Lenovo forum said there is a problem with Wi-Fi direct printing option, actually I didn't tried that :-)
I know this is a MT 1 ghZ, so I never gonna complaint about gaming performance and multi tasking., But I expect basic capabilities should be perfect and I believe there is no wrong in that.

I my friend got purchased this phone in second flash sale and what he got is terrible, the phone restarted 3 times in 2 hours, hanged when using gallery, couldn't disable read mode without restarting. And even the fingerprint sensor was bad performing, so conclusion is that everybody is not satisfied with any phone, there is always negative and positive, we have to accept it.

This phone good considering the price and it's offerings, good value for money, if people need great performance they should go for Moto z play, or Moto g series.

Actually i'am a MOTO lover who used moto g1,e1 personally and bought g3, g2, xplay for family members , but none disappoints us, that's why I bought this phone, but sadly this is not MOTO.
If anyone plan to buy this phone (even after these troubles:-), wait for 3 months I bet Lenovo will definitely Slash price to 5.5-6k.
And for 8k...this is not all worth better go 4 Asus laser 2, it's worth ur money (9k) + lot of service centres +even it's available in retail outlets too.
And one more thing guys , actually for the past 1 year I didn't check regular retail market , it's completely changed, an year back in 5-10k range Samsung and Micromax ruled that segment but now i'am getting news that VIVO & OPPO rules the category.
Retailers getting superb support from both companies, so if any defects , instant replacement is possible , so need to trace online ppl , unnecessary head aches + waste of time like what i'am doing now typing long messages ..lol :-)
So it's time to better stay away from this online buying nonsense for sometime.

You are not going to use speaker while using headphones. So no problem
When you turn on speakers, you are not going to put on headphones. So even if headphones are on or off during speaker, what difference it makes? Does it effect other functions of phone?
Please learn to enjoy music rather than worrying about such petty problems.
