Synster, 23 Jul 2014My phone isn't starting :/ any idea ?This is our recommendation as well.
Plug it into the charger
Hold the VOL DOWN key
While still holding the VOL DOWN key, press and hold the POWER key
Hold both keys down for over 120 seconds. This is more than two minutes and will seem like a long time. You might want to time yourself to make sure you hold it longer than two minutes.
After holding the keys down for more than two minutes, release them.
The Flash Boot screen will display, and the Normal Reboot option will be highlighted
Press the VOL UP key and the device will start a normal reboot.
We're working to eliminate this issue in a future update.
UPDATE:
If you have tried the above and it didn't work, try this:
Plug in the phone for 15 minutes.
Proceed to Step 2 above.

    I am very happy with the phone. Only facing a strange situation. Would be glad if you can help.

    The situation is, I once connected my laptop through USB tethering. After this, the mobile hot spot is not working with my laptop. Although initially, it was properly working. Also, for other mobile devices, my moto g is working fine a mobile hotspot.

                      it's 167 update rarely have any new features but the update is necessary because it fixes all the bugs like voice transmission n other what u get new is dialer look..

                        One of my friends using nexus 5 told me that it drains the battery a lot. Is it true with moto g too?

                            Its better to improve the call settings options and text input options like samsung. And should be background image when u open the menu instead of black color. Moto agents can u inform this.?

                                  Just updated the KitKat 4.4.4. Diller looks good and u can pause video reccording. But I alwyas get this ERROR MSG "Restricted Access Changed. Emergency service is blocked". Anybody has idea about this one?

                                        Stop complaining about the phone. This is the best you get for 14000/12500rs.
                                        Others may provide better. But they don't last long. And those who provide long lasting devices are not so powerful.
                                        This is the best of both performance and durability.
                                        People here only know to complain.
                                        If the handset is faulty. Get it replaced. It's normal and acceptable to know that you might get a faulty set. Cities make mistakes in handing while transport.
                                        Why don't you people get a Nokia 100 and satisfy yourself with no updates and long lasting battery?
