Hey any geek there...got d phone today...simply awesome...one thing I'm not really liking is if I'm using only one sim then the status bar still showing the condition of sim 2 as (X)...I think it should not appear at all in this case like the samsung phones...so whats the solution to remove the sim 2 icon..???

Last week i bougtht motog,iam also facing same problem frequently blurred and heat observed while charging.despite of these set back looking smart and working fast and user friendly.

Guys i bought this device last week its working great..but sumtimes the icon names gets blurred and also blank screen is displayed..do any1 experience the same prob?

charge your phone while off , do not sign into hangouts and google +. My wife has same Moto G as me and she charge it once a week . If yours only last few hours there must be something wrong. I use a 5volts , 1 amp charger. Hope i could help

Hi friends,I m using motog from 1 month.I observed some problems like - 1)once the mobile charge was around 60%,but when I removed mobile from my pocket after sometime its showing 1% charge,I switched off & on again showing same, but when I plugged in for charging its suddenly started showing 61%.
2)once I was unable to here anything from speakers(for both incoming & outgoing calls) after switchoff & switch on its started working
3)mobile gets slightly heated while playing games etc
I got above problems(1 & 3) only once till now.
Is there any solution for these problems?
Plz let me know.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2014Just factory reset once it ll solve the problem.i had it tooThnx buddy for the reply.
1) I called up on MOTO customer care and they admit the problem and told that it will solve on next update
2) Even factory reset is not a solution (search for Motorola moto G forum for detailed discussion )
3) I am happy that your problem solved by factory reset

I have the Moto G for 2 monthts now and no problem. Battery last 5 days , no heating and very smooth. Best phone ever

[deleted post]4.4.2 kitkat only came out for the moto g in January/February time frame. Its also up to the carrier to push out the update.

rajesh, 13 Apr 2014hello i want to ask why to buy moto g , it has only 5 mp , ... morei agree with you dude, but does that cell you are talking about 8 mega pixels camera have all the other features moto g has. Those cell you are talking about are just good with camera and null in rest of everything . If you are paying 10k that means its only for camera not for cell . Instead go for a camera Which Will have better pixels
