I have updated my moto g to kitkat as soon as i received it from flipcart in India. The phone is working great but my battery backup is very bad. It was told to me that location access disablement and controlled usage of 3 G, reduced brightness would be helpful. But i don't find much difference. The battery drains even if it is kept idle.. Can somebody help??? will flipcart would offer its replacement if i claim for?? I just love my phone but its battery worries me...Pls help

What a device! Working great, Camera quality is somewhat less but video is OK. RAM management is outstanding.
Display is just awesome.

I have moto g...when I am using net in 2g then my battery backup approx 6hr...and in 3g only 5 hr
..plz tell me this battery back good or bad? if this backup bad then I will change my handset from flipkart..plz reply asap...

using it since 5 days. Awesome performance. Its just value 4money.
Only issue is the battery. After 100% batteiy charged I used it heavy ( like downloading was going on n in same time I was playing game n music in background ) it lasted 4.5 hours only. If u r a decent user then it'll serve u a full day 4 sure.

I bought the device and functionally everything it has is working fine. But unfortunately, USB cable was not there. When checked with Flipkart they said the phone does not have USB cable. In motorolla website they says USB cable is there. I told this to Flipkart team and they said it is not for India. Why?
Also, we cannot use standard usb cables for data connectivity is port is kind of different. So stuck in that :(

Just two weeks back I bought Moto G-16GB. Reception/response is excellent. even picture quality is good enough.very good smart phone for this price- awesome. I love this gadget, very slim & handy. go for it.

rex, 13 Mar 2014okkk...then why are they naming it as water repellent coati... morei definitely understood your point, however please take note that motorola never ever claimed that the phone is water resistant, they just advise you that the phone is covered by a protective layer that may HELP prevent water damage when you accidentally put it in the sink or something, but of course if the protection failed they are not liable for it because the keyword there is "TO HELP PROTECT AGAINST WATER" and not to make the phone water proof . so they are not liable if you try to put you phone in the water accidentally or intentionally. it is the user's own responsibility to take care of the phone. if it's damage by liquid like most other phone then it is not cover under warranty.
just remember, motorola never claimed the phone to be water resistant so they are not responsible if your phone is damaged by water.

[learn to read carefully my previous post ] although she had tested it successfully, if you gonna read the whole blog, the blogger said that i quote: [ Don't go out dunking your device in water and thinking you won't run the risk of damaging your phone unless the manufacturer feels confident enough to tell you it can survive. The only conclusion that you should draw from this video is that the Moto G is more sustainable than we originally thought, and that's great if an accident occurs. ] end of quote. so it is not water resistant smart guy, it just have water-repellent coating that helps keep the water out. so don't got around saying that this phone is water resistant as it is not, the company didn't go around telling this phone is water resistant because they have a reason not to.

I've had a Moto G dual. that's good phone and i'm so happy to purchase. but i have a issue:
My phone is charging too slow with motorola charger (about 5 hr until full charge!) but when I use another charger, that's ok and get full after 2 hrs. ant motorola charger is ok too! because I charge sony and nokia phones with motorola charger and they haven't any problem!
Can you tell me what I do? (my phone upgrade to kitkat)
