If you are buying 8 GB one only 5 GB memory is available for user ...
16 GB only 11 GB is available for user ....
If you need more GB go for 16 GB one ....

some sites saying its screen is dull ,camera is poor.is it wise then to buy such a phone when we already knows that svc centre are not there (may be a few)in india

I have owned a Motorola phone previously and have sworn not to buy a Motorola ever again in my lifetime.
I had 2 Androids from Motorola and the issues i faced with Motorola were as follows
1) Screens of both the phones stop responding during rainy season when the humidity in the air increases in a place like Mumbai
2) They were the most expensive phones (droids) from Motorola when i purchased them and NO update in their lifetime
Try going to their service centre in Mumbai and i bet you will jump off your terrace. Incompetent, Careless, no ethics, cheats, crooks and several other similar adjective would be insufficient to describe them.
My advise - It may be a good phone but just stay away from Motorola atleast in India.

I have received my phone from flipkart and after one day of usage it seems quite exceptional till now.
The only weird thing about the phone was that it had no USB cable,seriously???
Phone is super smooth and camera is also upto the mark in daylight quite good for a 14k phone which offers quad core processor.Nothing bad about the phone and feel good to be one of the few MOTO g users B-)

CSP Gadgy, 10 Feb 2014I watched moto g unboxing video and they showed that only d... morethat is US version. for india they provide Charger but no USB cable. they provide earphones also.
