I have bought MOTO G 1ST GEN(XT 1033) this phone on 13 December 2013 from ebay.
It is good phone but signal problem is there, i am using vodafone and bsnl sims but signals goes and come frequently this was not happened to my old phone xolo a600.
Other wise phone is great value for money.
I asked about warranty to MOTOCARE but they said that they can cover only warranty on purchase on Flipcart and not from any other side. Guys can you tell me how i can get warranty for one year because i bought this from ebay.

barun, 02 Jan 2015Motorola, are u serious???? the prblm which im about to pos... moreclear al the cokkies o phone phone... mine runs perfectly during multitasking without any issue and so are my friend are very happ with the muktitasking. so fix the contents which you store on your phone. use the app called cleanmaster from googlelay and it helps a lot. the only problem is that still havent recived the update to lollipop. hope it helps

The main reason behind my parchase of Moto G (2013) was the hope of getting v5.0 Lollipop update (India). But NO! Till now I've not got the update. v5.0.1 is going to come...and yet I haven't got v5.0 ....its a pity! I'm waiting since 4 months for the update...and am too disappointed! Not expected! When are we gonna get the update Google? 😔😔😔

its a nice phone I m using it from 5 months games does not lag good battery backup camera clarity also good otg support full HD videos does not lag but after some more than 3000 messages in WhatsApp it says WhatsApp not responding what's the solution for this

After using for 8 months, i definitely can say this is the best phone of all and performance side its good didnt face any lag issues, signal issues or any other issues. I have installed NOVA 3 which is working like charm. Till sometime i thought this cheap smartphone but after seeing a flux of smartphones in the market with high specs but god knows about the durability and when it will stops without giving any clue to you. So friends go for it. Battery issues evrything depends up on your usage some people use high end apps which will run in background and sucks juice out of your battery. Coming to OTG it also working fine after i got moto g i got accustomed to latenight movies loading in pendrive connecting to my moto g and watching.... So friends without any second thought go for it....

only 20% contact photo appears on the screen when someone calls whose photo is in contact list. when i contacted the company representative they told me that you have to accept this problem as we do not have solution for this.samsung is having no such problem . i came to know from some one that this is due some bug in the system and company could not remove that.so be careful before purchasing this particular phone.

After using it for abt 6 months I can say it is a superb piece of phone.
Pros:
1.awesome display
2.battery life is pretty good after using greenify app.
3.I played asphalt 8 at max graphics setting widout any lag.
4.supports otg..
5.no hangs.
6.screen is scratch proof.I m using widout screen guard.it has low reflectivity. So good outdoor visibility.
here r d cons:
1.lumia 520 has better camera images.
2.due to limited ram multitasking z not really true.
