I'm honestly disappointed with the g4 series,even if it has good specs by knowing its price it crashes everytime you try to play some good games,i honestly think this might be appropriate for social media instead of gaming.

I had about 5:30h on screen time with 6.0.1, now about 4:30 - 4:45 h with 7.0
Have to charge it in less than 24h, earlier on 36h.
Hope all that goes away with 7.1.1
Besides that, Nougat works awesome on G4

Just got the Nougat 7.0 update yesterday, retau version of the phone, about 750 mb in size-everything is just fine, very nice look and feel, great new features. Didn't noticed any problem in this short period, can't really judge on battery life for exemple, got to test it a bit longer, but looks very good so far.

I've updated on 7.0 ( sec. patch 12/2016 ) about a week ago and battery drains very fast. Only issue for now. Back on 6.0 no issues at all_

My husband and I have Nougat on our UK SIM free Moto G4s and so far no issues just improvements.

Surely Google should be supplying the security updates as soon as they become available. Is there a way to email Google to find out what gives.

This phone is decent for a mid-range phone. HD quality, runs smoothly. However, the phone periodically glitches out with the home button being spammed even when I'm not touching it.

Even if nougat comes to moto g4 I doubt I will update mine,
Will just keep it as it is, a cheap work phone....saves damaging an expensive handset and saves wasting time on nougat.

A quick review of this really cheap device.. price when reviewed 150£ plus free 32gb sd.
Been using this phone now for 3 days as a daily driver and wow im impressed.
The spec sheet might ve on the mid range side of things but for a phone at this price i doubt you could find something better. I heard a lot of people talking about this phone saying its slow its weak it has a weak camera.. really? This phone is just as fast as any new phone it has a gorgeous camera for most situations especially daylight photography. It can run Order And Chaos 2 Redemption which imo is a very demanding game. With a memory card you can make ur internal storage huge for apps music photos files whatever. Most people these dayd want loads of storage to download and download and download with this phone you can even with the s7 whoch vosts 3x as much i cant fo that.
Also that fron speaker and the general size of the phone is great for media.
For those out there that want a cheap end phone that can do every task you ask it to do apart from things like android pay or 3d touch or other fancy smansy gimiky things this phone is perfect

I see a lot of people still fussing about android nougat update, surely moto g5 will hit the shelves before g4 gets updated?
Makes sense to bring out new hardware first then bring out the software update afterwards for the older devices
