My sister is having a Moto G4 Plus and I checked the charger's current. It was 25 w. It was the reason for quick charging and phone heating. Use a low rated charger. My sis uses more than 2 chargers for phone. She never faced this issue. Try this and it might work. Cheers!

Very nice phone ,good battery backup , no heating problem , no log , average camera and overall is good ,,,,

Camera shows "camera busy" error all the time i try to open. I got the phone on 22nd sep. Done restarting, restoring,clearing data and cache and work in safe mode. Still same outcome. Does anybody face the same issue? Can anybody help with me with that?

I am using Moto G 4 play since last two weeks, facing battery heating problem, some time during long conversation or some time during charging. Is it happening with my handset only or any body encountering the same problem?

moto g4 play has dual sim slot or single sim slot???

Got the 16GB/2GB version and it works faster than my previous phone (LG K10), despite of having a weaker chipset, and it's cheaper. It supports fast charging and it doesn't heat up much while charging. Battery backup is also very good, the camera is average and not very suitable for low-light conditions due to it's narrow aperture. It gets warm while playing games (casual, not demanding) or updating several apps. It didn't crashed once. Moto Display is very useful and a worthy alternative to the notification LED. Very good audio quality but I found the speaker a bit quiet. I haven't experienced network issues so far.
All in all, it's a fine budget phone and it's worth buying it (for the people who's considering to buy it of course).

bought this phone a few days back
very nice, solid built, smooth operation (no lag), dual sim ( both 4G),
overall a great budget phone, with all necessary features. i hope it gets android N update
only function missing is LED notification
