Overall it has been a great phone, only issue after 20 months of use is the phone keeps rejecting my SD card every few months. It will give me a message saying the "SD card is missing, reinsert this device." Then doesn't let me "mount" the card, I take the card out and reinsert it and nothing! The last update was in April 2018, I'm still waiting for the Oreo update.

Lot of dust in primary camera. Leads to blurry image. So I stopped using my primary camera.
Over heating.
Ghost touch problem while on heat, sunlight, auto brightness
No oreo update still now.. very baddddddd

Moto is going down no updation and bad services never buy moto again where is is the oreo update????

Still happy with the phone after almost two years. but there are some minor annoyances. 16GB internal storage is not enough for me. Screen shows retention which is noticeable after 10 minutes at higher brightness levels.

Actually I am not a fan of moto but I love this because of its price and camera quality. It was good at first times that I always used original charge tool but now I am suspicious about it. Now I am using another slow charger and it is not hot while recharging and observably better in ghost screen.

Ram, 03 Sep 2018I have been using Moto G4 plus for two years and since then... morechange the camera settings to 4:3 (16MP) ratio..
the camera settings is 16:9 (12MP) by default which is not compatitible by TV or if you try to edit on google photos.
that ratio is for 16:9 phones and TVs have the opposite

It's pure trash. Overheat. Serious bugs problems, like rebooting over the sudden and ghost touch.

I bought this last year in 2017 for my wife based on reviews saying best budget phone with best camera. Camera isn't that good.worst thing is phone heating up all the time especially on mobile data , camera. Its as if Ur holding a frying pan inspite of using phone cover.I won't recommend this phone for daily usage. Look elsewhere for good budget phones.

I have been using Moto G4 plus for two years and since then I am searching and asking the manufacturer ...that picture taken by moto G4 plus and stored in pendrive are not palyed in Tv, while I compress the file it is shown but thumbnail lost..while as picture of same format taken by other phones are shown even bigger file..who will help me.?

I've been using the G4+ for over a year now, heavy use, multitasking, lots of gaming. Never experienced any problems.
