no special feature (except moto action which are useless)
no led notification
no compass
with 3gb ram it costed Rs 15000...too costly
its flash light is yellowish
power button is weak
Moto is a piece of garbage

This is a great budget phone. Good performance, battery life is good. Doesn't lag or hang (so far) but the camera is disappointing. Phones that cost less than Moto G5 Plus have a better camera. Otherwise it's a good buy.

This phone is shit! Simple as that. It freezes a lot on me and it automatically restarts when it freezes. Also I have found that quite often people when calling them can't hear me. I have to use speaker phone quite few times though so that they could hear me. This phone is the worst Moto G phone I've owned. Definitely Avoid at all costs!

The Honor 9 Lite phone in the UK have been having really great reviews for just GBP199. But in that same price segment you got this older but still great Moto G5 Plus.
Between these two (in terms of speaker quality, overall camera warmtness/colour/saturation/detail/low-light), performance (especially multitasking, app loading & RAM management), being "friendly" with light splash of water or rain, sunlight legibility and updates which would you guys choose?

abhi, 17 Feb 2018Hey was that update stable ?I'm having issues with mine since the update. After 17 minutes precise, the phone either shuts down, PR reboots, locking to the Moto blue screen. I've been trying to get tech support, and can't get through long enough before 17 minutes passes.
