I have observed a peculiar bug , sometimes we try to play a video (after recording using camera or whatsapp, or even in instagram) , the video frame freezes and only sound plays on.
If we click back and open video again it plays without issue.
This is a major bumming while recording video in WhatsApp and try to playack the captured video before sending , as clicking back here discards the recorded video
Anybody else facing this issue??Should I return the device??

But SD765G is still better than SD695. Battery efficiency isnt really much of a debate as I have a SD765G TCL 10 5G phone that can last me 2 days with medium usage(socail, some media streaming, etc but no gaming). Gaming would probably be half a day depending on how demanding it is. More importantly it supports 4k video recording.

Or if you are adamant about getting SD695 based phones, get Note 11 Pro 5G instead coz its cheaper. Software comparison between two motorola phones is moot since overall motorola aint good with 1 major os upgrade only.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2022SD 695 is a slightly more powerful and a power efficient So... moreHah, this phone aint worth a nack, NO SDCARD, ONLY 1080P VIDEOS, stil with dumb 2mp macro with NO DEPTH SENSOR, NO HDR10, LCD vs AMOLED is not an issue as its user preference heck one 5g ace is better as it has HDR10 panel, NO COMPASS, software updates???? both are motorola phones so it isnt much a comparison unless you compare it with other brands otherwise motorla sucks at it with only 1 major os upgrades. 695 maybe slightly ahead on cpu but 750g still better on multi core with better instruction set while both having the same 619 gpu so it aint much diference. 750G have better ISP & 5G Modem means better image processing with 4k 60 fps video recording & faster download speeds while the later oof I wont even bother. If you really want SD695, just get the Xiaomi Note 11 pro, cheaper than this Moto G71 with much better specs like 120hz bright amoled panel, stereo speakers, sdcard, etc. etc. but that still aint worth it lol just coz of that gimped SD695.

I would pick G71 over One Ace, since it comes with an AMOLED screen, better software support, lighter weight, faster charging, battery battery backup and is more pocketable than the latter. G71 lacks a compass, but that’s subjective to the buyer preference.

So it means the 8gb will be more than $300+ which is way overpriced while lacking capability with that dumb down SD695 soc. Better buy Moto G One Ace with SD750G or Moto G 5G Plus with SD765 than this. Or the Fusion.

The heck!!! $500 for a gimped SD695 that cant record more than 1080p 30fps videos with no sd card slot, mono speakers, dump 2mp macro cam instead of putting depth sensor, not even 90hz amoled. Lol DOA!

I've been patiently waiting for the G71 5G to go on sale in UK - we're well past the official UK launch date of 19-Jan. Motorola helpdesk confirmed it would be launched in UK, but said they didn't have any information on release date. Does anyone know any more? Thanks.

is the build quality of the phone good enough? the specs look great for the price and dont leave much to complain about, so i hope the low price offered isnt at the cost of a sturdy build. there's no mention of any hardened screen glass in the specs either.
