I can only imagine that this phone is being fabricated on different factories since nothing that is being said about the problems I have faced. I do agree that haptics are horrible, but no other issues at all.

I think those that are complaining about it, used to have Samsung S series or iphones and never had a mid tier phone to compare with. Comparing G73 to other mid or budget phones makes it a really phone.

kjan, 29 Jun 2023Thank you. So my only concerns are based on the previous ... moreother than the lousy haptic feedback, there is no issue at all. you need to let the camera focus and hold hand still, before clicking pics. i guess most of these reviews are by other mobile companies, because moto is giving a very good phone at this price.

ChanyPhilly, 30 Jun 2023Genuinely one of the worst phones I've ever owned. Th... morei have the phone in my hands and it sounds as if you are talking about different device.

i don't use bluetooth that much, but i have yet to see a single disconnect from those occasions i use my JBL Flip 4.

i am not that happy with daytime shots on stock camera (oversharpening and greens are way too punchy and unnstural) so i use gcam, but night shots are surprizingly very good (way better than gcam) and videos are also good. considering the price i cannot ask for more.

Genuinely one of the worst phones I've ever owned. The G73 is full of issues, some not immediately noticeable, but extremely annoying as time goes by.
          1. Unreliable Bluetooth which has a tendency to disconnect for no reason
          2. Takes an absolute age to copy files
          3. Camera is extremely poor and zoom is practically unusable
          4. Restart takes absolutely ages
          5. Resolution is very poor, causing pixelation and glitchiness on YouTube etc
          6. Screen freezes on pretty much a daily basis, and touch sensitivity in general is very poor
          7. Apps have a tendency to quit for no apparent reason
          8. A lot of basics that you'd expect with a modern phone don't come included; Phone maintenence, proper photo editing software...

To be honest there are so many problems, that I've actually forgotten some of them. I wanted a decent mid-range phone to keep me going until I was able to save up for something more high end, and I wish I had chosen any other phone but this one. The one positive point, is that it charges extremely fast, and the battery lasts quite a long time, but for all the real use you get out of the phone, that becomes a moot point. Look elsewhere and save yourself the time and money.

            Thank you.
So my only concerns are based on the previous comments the draining battery and the low in-call volume.
Can someone confirm if these issues have been resolved by a recent sw update?

kjan, 28 Jun 2023I am actually thinking of switching from One Vision to G73.... more"Why do you think this is worse then the 4 years old One Vision?"
it's not thinking - it is emotions.

D930 twice faster than Exynos in OV, battery is bigger, storage is very fast on G73 - G73 45% faster in sequential read/write than CE 3 Lite in fact, stereo speakers, etc.

I also wouldn't choose A14 because of poor speaker quality; in this respect Motorola phones are better: even their cheaper models come with Dolby Atmos. You should go for Samsung a33 or a34, if you can afford to pay €250 for a phone.

Did anyone notice a slite Bulging on the back pannel where the battery is located... Guys just check and let me know whether it's only with my unit or manufacturer like that.... I felt ups and downs on the back pannel, keenly observed when I slided my fingure over the back pannel from top to bottom....

Samsung is called king of bloatwares, so as a result the phone will have even more less free space to operate. It is not good for a long run

Anonymous, 03 Apr 2023does it has wifi calling optionIt does not have proper WiFi calling in the UK according to Vodafone. I tried everything and was told it was incompatible with this phone. WhatsApp will work ok but that is not proper WiFi calling. I also asked Lenovo and they were not able to confirm WiFi calling on this phone in the UK.
