Nitin, 22 Jun 2023Mine has..I'm in the UK and Vodafone said that WiFi calling is not compatible on this phone in the UK. What country are you in? I'm not talking about WhatsApp etc but proper WiFi calling.

Motorola G73 5G or Samsung A14 5G (6GB/128GB). Motorola will only issue one major Android update while Samsung will issue two. Motorola has more RAM and storage capacity but on the software side, Motorola is allegedly the worse choice. Which one?

Recent purchase from Lenovo.
Phone OK. Battery life not as good as my previous Moto G7 but the G73 5G charges quickly.
Android 13 does have some bugs that I've reported to Lenovo, but overall reasonably pleased. Kept my G7 just in case!

G73 is on the cooler side for sure, it is above 30°C where i am now, and i have yet to feel it warm enough to consider it a worry

I did buy it. It does heat up when charging but that is fine.
I did heat up earlier when watching a video on 5G but it's nearly 30 degrees in the UK and the video was for over 15 mins so I am not worried.

I have disabled 5g. got around 12 hours screen time. camera is finicky, needs update on focus issues. screen is not gorilla, but very smooth, unlike gorilla glass 3 on which Ihad to stop my game and wipe my thumb, because it got sticky. I am testing battery usage on refresh rate set to Auto vs 60hz. But 120hz feels so smooth, I may keep it on Auto. Battery gets warm on turbo charge, but there is a setting for battery optimization 80% etc..

-120Hz works everywhere,
-battery life is good,
-no lags/very smooth,
-motorola gestures are quite handy,
-speakers are loud and even have some bass, so the sound is not thin and ear-piercing like on some other budget devices.
-no 2Mp trash, 8Mp ultrawide with auto-focus.
-main camera with big 1 µm pixels.
-can record video at 1080/60fps/EIS, unlike SD695 devices.
-design is great, i really like the no nosense design, it's hard to come by nowadays, every one seems to make big camera bump and disco colors.
drawbacks are
1. stock camera software doesn't make color accurate pictures during daytime
i dunno what happened, because note book check net did a test and results were very color accurate (G73 - 6.74 ∆E min: 3.54/max: 8.77 ∆E, 14 Pro Max - 9.4 ∆E min: 2.94/max: 16.43 ∆E). what i experience though is oversharpened photos with unnatural, punchy greens. gcam can fix that. low light photos are good with stock camera and much better than gcam.
2. microphone is mediocre, so don't expect great recordings.

The times of 2 days is STANDBY. No phone in the world is nearly able to pull off what you are talking about.
Your entire assisment is based on aspects you yourself aren't aware of, thus can't really judge it well.
The disappointment you speak of isn't valid in this situation.
