Update regarding something else I discovered about the G7 Power...
... Shortly after I got the phone I discovered that it had difficulty connecting to the Bluetooth receiver I have in my car whereas my old G4 Play never had that problem. Turns out there's a setting buried deep within the overall 'settings' you have to change. In 'Security and Location,' you have to go to 'Location,' 'Advanced,' and then 'Scanning' and toggle off 'Bluetooth Scanning' because apparently that interferes with the phone being able to re-connect to your most commonly-used Bluetooth devices. There's a similar toggle for 'WiFi Scanning' as well. At first I thought my phone might be defective, but it isn't. It's just this obscure setting that was the culprit. Figured I'd post this in case anyone else ran into this problem.
Begin rant: Also, I'm wondering, is there a phone in existence that is unlocked and works on any major US carrier, has a notification LED, a proprietary dock that puts the phone in desktop or driving mode, a front fingerprint sensor (or under the display), NFC, all the rest of the options this phone, including a massive battery, band 71 and a headphone jack, and is similarly priced? I think it'd be easier to find a unicorn at this point. End rant.

good phone, but body size too big, would buy if body size would be not more than 145x65mm, but actually hope more compact like 135x60mm.

I listen to podcasts about 95% of the time, and that's ususally about 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I occasionally play word puzzle games - nothing 3d or graphics intensive - but I'm sure this phone is capable of running them. Occasionally I might watch a YouTube video, navigate with Google Maps, read news headlines and articles via Google Now or Feedly. I sometimes still have 94% battery left at the end of the day after listening to audio 8 to 10 hours a day via headphones and streaming via bluetooth 1.5 hours going to and from work. Even the E4 Plus isn't able to achieve this kind of efficiency. I've only used about 13% battery today in the past 15 hours.

Still loving this phone. Scratch the low light ... moreFinal update: Just had to plug in (2019-03-31) for the first time since Tuesday morning (2019-03-26). That's over 5 1/2 days of what's considered "normal use" for me. And it was still at 15%. But since it entered "battery saver" mode and the charging icon turned red, I figured I'd go ahead and plug it in. It'd probably last until tomorrow morning at the same time of day I unplugged it, so that'd actually be about 6 days. Not too shabby.
Still haven't taken pictures or video yet. That's just not a big priority for me, but again, I'm sure they'll be decent enough for a 12MP (not 13MP like I stated in my previous post).
No buyer's remorse here. I plan to use this phone for as long as possible. I highly recommend it if you want a phone that doesn't need charging everyday and don't mind not having NFC depending on where in the world you are.

Still loving this phone. Scratch the low light face unlock issue. Even in a totally dark room, the screen emits enough light so that the phone can see your face and unlock the screen for you. It's been working great. So has the fingerprint sensor, but I use that very little thanks to how reliable face unlock works.
The dark theme changes some elements of the UI, such as the app drawer and the phone app, but other elements are still black text with bright white background. Very inconsistent with regards to what the dark theme works in.
Audio quality is better than my old G4 Play, both with headphones and bluetooth, and when calling others they say I sound much clearer. In the one spot I drive through almost daily where my calls used to drop when using the G4 Play, my G7 Power did not drop the call, and in fact the audio didn't even cut out a little. So it definitely has greatly improved signal reception.
Still haven't taken any pictures, so I can't yet attest to its camera performance. But 13MP with even a rudimentary form of image stabilization is better than 8MP without, right?
Battery life is phenomenal. I unplugged the phone yesterday morning (2019-03-26), and it's still at 65% more than a day and a half later, with what is "normal daily usage" for me - about 1 hour of phone calls, maybe 50 texts, roughly 2 hours of web browsing, about 8 hours of listening to audio via headphones, and about 1 1/2 hours of listening to audio via bluetooth in the car. So that's about an average of about 18% of battery used per day so far. No other phone I've ever had comes even close, with about the same amount of usage. So far, I'm guestimating that I'll have to plug it in Friday night (2019-03-29) when I go to bed.
And to continue my griping from last time just a little more, and I'm sure there are plenty of folks who'll back me up on this, would it hurt to go back to including a notification light in these phones? If someone doesn't want to use it just include a setting to disable it, but don't remove such an essential feature from the phone. If Samsung's still including one on their Galaxy S phones, I don't see why Moto couldn't have continued including them. I'd probably have even more available battery time left if the screen didn't light up every few seconds from the Moto display option picking up a sound or a movement of some kind causing it to light up. A notification LED would only light up if there was something it actually needed to light up for. Not repeatedly, arbitrarily lighting up every couple of seconds just because I'm walking with the phone in my pocket.

Well, I finally got mine. Sorry if I get a little long-winded...
It is indeed a great mobile and everything I expected. It's nice to finally have a "universal unlocked phone" where, if I decide to, I can just switch carriers any time I like. This is the first phone I've ever had with a fingerprint sensor, and it works great. The 'face unlock' feature also works great, but has a little difficulty in low light. Oh, and regarding 'face unlock,' and another feature, or lack thereof, on this phone...
I still have an old backup phone I use every now and then, the Luge, which is basically a slightly updated 2014 version of the 2012 RAZR M, and they surprisingly had 'face unlock' all the way back in 2012, and it didn't work as good as this. But it DID HAVE NFC! In fact I bought a new RAZR M to harvest the screen off of when I accidentally dropped the Luge and cracked its screen. When I took the RAZR M apart, I noticed that basically all the NFC chip consisted of was a thin, square-shaped sticker with a small wiring connector coming out of it, stuck to the inside of the back of the phone. Nothing fancy. Didn't look like it would impact the cost of the phone, or the manufacturing of it, certainly not by much. So I'm trying to figure out why it's absent, in an otherwise perfectly good $250 phone. The Luge was only $70 brand new at Wal-Mart. In 2014. Five years later, we can't put NFC in a $250 phone in 2019?!
... anyway, back to this phone. I am very pleased with it overall. There are quite a few new or extra settings I wasn't expecting, upgrading from my previous phone, a G4 Play, which I got after the Luge screen incident. 'Digital wellbeing' is one of them, and it provides a way of making yourself "unplug" from your phone and "winding down," with settings like making the screen color change to black-and-white at a certain time, and then return to color at a scheduled time. It's also an app in the Play Store, and is only compatible with newer phones. This phone also has Google's AR Core, so I imagine there will be some useful utilities, if there aren't already, for Project Tango-type stuff. The weater/clock/calendar widget on the home screen is much more detailed, and the best one I've seen and used since the circles widget from the Luge.
There's only one wallpaper image that's included with the phone, and it's the green one you see in the image above. Of course I'm sure almost everyone changes that, but I would've expected at least a half-dozen or so pics like the ones from the G4 Play. There's also a wallpapers app that wasn't on the G4 Play either, that can download and display other images as well.
There's also the usual complement of Google apps installed, some of which I disable and never use. And under advanced display settings, there's a 'dark theme,' which I have selected, but I don't see too much of it. Navigating through nearly aspect of the software, it's still nearly all black text on a white background. I was expecting everything to look the way 'messages' does when you enable its 'dark mode.' I do miss the days of the Tron-Legacy-like appearance of Jelly Bean's darker, easy-on-the-eyes appearance. It would be nice to have that as an option.
I haven't had time to test out the camera or bluetooth or listening to audio yet, as I've only had the phone one day, so I can only guess how that is, but I imagine it'll be at least decent and probably way better than the G4 Play was. I'm glad they've kept the headphone jack, as I prefer using that over bluetooth when listening to audio. To me, bluetooth headphones are just another thing you have to keep charged up, and they have to be frequently recharged due to the small battery. I like at least still having the option to just plug in a pair of headphones in the 3.5mm jack and not have to use some dongle, especially one that has to share headphones and a charging cord. Incidentally, the Luge had very good sound quality via bluetooth and headphones. I actually had to turn down the sound in the car if I switched from the G4 Play to the Luge when listening to audio via bluetooth. I rarely use the camera on whatever phone I use, but it has the best specs out of all the phones I've ever used. Even a Pixel or an iPhone is no match for a real camera, or so I've heard, so I don't expect too much from this budget phone's camera.
The USB-C plug is a welcome change, I guess. All my previous phones had micro-USB. It seems to require a little more force when plugging and unplugging than micro-USB did, but I won't be doing that quite as often with this phone, I hope, unless I'm transferring files to and from the computer. I also got a couple of extra cables for the car and for work, just in case I need them. It's also going to take some time to get used to the power button being below the volume button. My older Motos had it above the volume button.
On a side note - one thing I REALLY miss, is the proprietary phone dock and ESP cable you could get for Moto phones. I still have those for my Luge (I bought and "modded" the Droid 3 dock by taking out the HDMI cable to fit the Luge), and I like the way it would go into desktop clock mode as soon as it was plugged in. That was one of the best features Moto phones ever had, in my opinion. It made switching from using an actual alarm clock to using the phone as an alarm clock much easier.
