She is very pleased with the quality of the G82; screen, speed of operation and camera - ok you can spend a lot more and get better quality but the Moto G82 provides excellent value for money and without the bloatware of some manufacturers. Highly recommended.

around here it has some touchscreen issues and some heating issues.
that 120Hz refresh rate is adaptable to the apps you're using. obviously you don't need 120Hz refresh rate when you use the messenger or some weather app.
also, considering the os versions and the future updates - the G82 is way more interesting.

Hi, I have this Moto G82 for few weeks. This is overall a good phone, no bloatware and despite that it has a Snapdragon 695, it's masę in TSMC 6N process, so it's just better than Samsung, energysaving and fast. A78 cores are I think most powerful, even A710 as powerful as A78. This is pros and cons:

                        - fast and neat UI, even gaming experience is good.
                        - big battery, 5000mAh it's one day of really heavy usage
                        - screen, 1 bilion colours and 120Hz OLED

                        - camera is taking nice photos in daylight, worse in night.

Yeah it is ready hard to decide on phone especially when price difference isn't that big, like you say if I pay 50-100$ more I can get edge 30 and then you say but I can add more money and get a better phone until you reach expensive level.

I wish there is 200$ phone that has everything, my only worry is if the 695 processor can't give me smooth experience and the edge 30 will be better.

Can this phone use the LibreLink app? I need the app to manage my diabetes, and they're pretty vague about what the requirements are. I think the requirements are just have NFC, but I dont want to buy a phone and find out its not compatible.

Can anyone that owns this phone just see if they're able to download the app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.librelink.app&gl=US&pli=1

None compatible phones should get a "This app is not available for any of your devices" error message.

                                Thanks!

If you use general mass market earphones with impedances between 16~32 ohms, it should be good. But anything above 50 ohms (high end stuff) you need special power to drive them. LG's QuadDAC enabled phones had that capability.

As of now I can can think of Redmi K50i/ Poco X4 GT to come with a High Res Certified audio jack. I own the K50i and the top of the line audio codec that ships with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 flagship SoC is very well put down on K50i. This is a flawless phone as of now with great support for 5G connectivity.

This is not to say the Moto G82 is bad, but I doubt its audio codec to be as good as K50i.

I´m still yet to find a good phone with an good (and loud) output via the 3.5 mm jack since HTC went down the line. Moto G6 Plus and G8 Power had good output I thought that the G82 should fit the description. :)

                                      it's quite decent.
you also have the dolby settings that you can turn on/off; you have several sound presets; you can also create your own equaliser.
