Can this phone use the LibreLink app? I need the app to manage my diabetes, and they're pretty vague about what the requirements are. I think the requirements are just have NFC, but I dont want to buy a phone and find out its not compatible.
Can anyone that owns this phone just see if they're able to download the app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.librelink.app&gl=US&pli=1
None compatible phones should get a "This app is not available for any of your devices" error message.
Thanks!

M93, 13 Nov 2022How is the audio via the 3.5mm jack? Does the phone have an... moreLoudness depends on the impedance of the earphones you are using. If you use general mass market earphones with impedances between 16~32 ohms, it should be good. But anything above 50 ohms (high end stuff) you need special power to drive them. LG's QuadDAC enabled phones had that capability.
As of now I can can think of Redmi K50i/ Poco X4 GT to come with a High Res Certified audio jack. I own the K50i and the top of the line audio codec that ships with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 flagship SoC is very well put down on K50i. This is a flawless phone as of now with great support for 5G connectivity.
This is not to say the Moto G82 is bad, but I doubt its audio codec to be as good as K50i.

Mr. Klesk, 14 Nov 2022not sure how would you define 'loud'. it's ... moreThank you very much for the feedback! I´m still yet to find a good phone with an good (and loud) output via the 3.5 mm jack since HTC went down the line. Moto G6 Plus and G8 Power had good output I thought that the G82 should fit the description. :)

it's quite decent.
you also have the dolby settings that you can turn on/off; you have several sound presets; you can also create your own equaliser.

MB, 27 Oct 2022Motorola is owned by Lenovo, owned and produced in china.I know but most phones sold in India are made in India including this one. I am talking about overall UI and clean Android experience which is not available in "Chinese" phones. Even pricier ones like Xiaomi 11 series was loaded with bloatware.

I have them both. The G82 is a better phone. One year more recent. 50% more powerful on benchmarks. The screen is better. The audio is better. The camera is similar. Don't be fooled by the specs. 50mp well done, is better than less well produces 100mb. The edge was 20 lite was excellent in 2021. The G82 5g is its national successor and is a bargain for a high end phone.

So here is my opinion, I have been using this for 3 days. Touch is super responsive, Camera is decent for normal users, you get OIS which is neat. The UI and Display are perhaps the best part of this phone which is clean Android experience has certain pixel themes which is cool for this price range, coming to the 10 bit display the Colors are just amazing and brightness is optimal. High graphics gaming can be done with 6gb RAM variant and it is smooth with no lags at all. So far I am loving the nostalgic clean Android experience I have been missing for years of using Chinese phones with loaded bloatware. For me it's always Moto/Nokia/Google pixels from now onwards! Chinese phones while good in performance lack the feel of classic early phones which are simple in UI and very easy to use. No bullshit apps here, everything can be disabled. Only downside is no 4k recording which is frankly issue with all Snapdragon 695 phones. I guess most manufactures are stuck with 695 at this price range because of the chip shortage in 2021/22. Kudos Motorola! You are finally back with good range of products.

Can anyone who hast tested them tell me with is better
Motorola Edge 20 Lite or Motorola G82
From what I can see they are similar. E20L has better camera bot no OIS, G82 worst camera but OIS.
G82 Stereo speakers.
E20L Mediateh, G82 SD695
Battery life should be similar I guess.

Here is my take after several months with my G82-
Excellent screen, photos are ok if you are just using for social media, not too big, bulky or heavy, battery lasts me a day and a half with heavy usage, the stock Android is very clean and overall it doesn't lag.
Imo a great cheap social media phone; you won't game on it, nor take great photos because it's designed to the price point. No 4K recording doesn't bother me because to me, even on more expensive phones 4K looks washed out and less sharp.
The negatives are for me; infrequent updates, the phone sometimes pauses for a second or two, which I think maybe the automatic refresh rate. The 5G also sometimes stops working, not very often though. It sometimes happens when you leave your house wifi, and it switches to 5G but the 5G symbol displays a exclamation mark and isn't connecting. Once or twice I've had to do a full restart to get it going again, which might frustrate other users.
Overall, I give the phone a 9/10 in my experience. I got it on sale when it first launched, did a quick read through of it's specs and was impressed so bought it and prayed it would be good 😂
Which it has been, so definitely recommend especially if it's on sale it's a no brainer.

3.5 mm jack support
Camera- Use Gcam for better results. Updated stock camera app takes good photos. Buy if you like natural colour tone.
Display - true flagship level
Stereo speakers - good bass control and loud
5g- 13 bands with carrier aggregation and latest wifi tech etc
Light weight and feels good in hand

Only screen is good and call quality .Sound is low not as stereo ,camera quality also bad even with Gcam.Updates policy is questionable in security updates.
