This phone has the lowest signal reception i have ever seen on a phone... Why ?? This is a Motorola! They shouldn't have this kind of issues... big disappointment!

I don't get a good mobile signal where I live but this phone seems even worse. Biggest disappointment is music streaming, Spotify and BBC sounds app keep breaking up

John Lewis £129.95. Bought to replace a Moto G that was bought in 2014 and was fantastic and fitted nicely in my pocket. It will be interesting to see if this will be as good and whether it will still fit in my pocket...

I have this one for week now and phone does not heat up, very good battery life and charges fast. Camera is ok, video not ok (cam better than expected if using raw) compass works, there is issues with some aps using compass however(like osmand), but i dont need it anyways, gps is good and while recording track uses very little battery(3 hours hike and like 5percent used including some photos). screen is good but outside need to hit 100percent if taking pictures, tint can by changed. Sometimes inside network goes quite low but works..disabling bluetooth and hotspot seems to help.. Phone quite bulky and i like it, aluminum frame is covered with plastic but feels solid, screen is "scratch resistant" as found in moto forums..if its not, i would know already:D Owerall wery hapy for price..not performance beast but totaly usable and fast and i dont need more frankly.Rather spend rest of money for apsc compact camera like ricoh gr or fuji x100 series instead buying flagship only to get camera..anyways moto gain my trust:)

Last moto i bought was moto x play back in 2016. It started lagging badly after 6 months. Ordered moto g8 power yesterday. Hopefully lagging is no issue anymore.

It made it very hot before its time. i too must also remove the protective cover first. Then now, the charging now are in good time. It's just that I'm afraid some insect will get into the components, you know?

Bosh, 29 Jan 2021Yes, man.. it's called "turbo power". I real... morewell you should keep your phone on but sleeping..they have a protocol for it if it gets too hot it will either slow charging or stop charging until the temp goes back down...just dont use it while changing

Miracast not supported - total disappointment. If you want to Screen Cast you should buy an original Chromecast.

I realized that it is when it gets too hot, sometimes it even stops at a percentage. And then when this happen i remove him from charge, I wait a few minutes for it to cool, and then put it back on. He loads again but will I always have to do that? I always charge it turned off.

I like the Phone.. but it take much time to charge full battery when it are with less than 5% (more than 4 hours) this is Normal or have some problem on it? Anyone happen this too?
