Hey if you're looking to buy this phone, save your money. I got my first Moto G2 last March, not only did the battery die extremely quick but it overheated all the time. By May of the same year the phone completely crashed. We sent it off to Motorola to get fixed and in the mean time borrowed a Moto G1 from family (it has a horrible camera but was a decent phone I guess). My phone came back in June and I transferred everything from the G1 back, only to have the phone completely crash again the same day. Once again and finally after another long period of time Motorola sent back a "refurbished" G2 (because why give your customers a new phone when you can fix someone else's broken one?). This phone worked much better, except it dying extremely quick and glitches where the battery life seen is not at all the charge your phone has left, the storage claiming to be full constantly when it had a full gig untouched with a 32 GB SD card, constant overheating, glitching out and restarting, and recently the speakers turning off while playing music forcing you to reset the phone before using the speakers again. Don't get me wrong this refurbished one is at least 10x better then the original, but still not worth what I paid for it. And now the screen cracked and Cellular One refuses to fix it, they just say you can buy a new phone for $80 and I refuse to do that seeing how bad every other phone I've gotten from them being so horrid. If a phone is bad enough for me to deal with a shattered screen for a year instead of getting a new phone of the exact same make/model its not worth it. I have 7 more months with the G2 before our contract ends and I am just counting the days until then.

After 6 months. In two slots, one is not working. I changed to another one. Again I got the same problem. I took my cell to service. After 4 months again one slot is not working. Very bad to use two Sims in one cell. I could not use one sim due to slot issue and I am not getting any calls and also I could not use net pack. Troubling users very badly.

After just 18 month's use, my MOTO G2 turned dead. Battery not charging.
The Motorola/Lenovo service station checked and told that it needs Mother Board replacement costing Rs. 6000/-.
Phone's motherboard stopping its working in just less than 2 years of phone's use tells about Bad /Defective Manufacturing by Lenovo company.

I bought motog2 last September immediately with in one week of purchase it got updated to lollipop.from then many a times its hanging, battery doesn't last for one day at least ,while using Internet it hangs much,apps take time to open.provide me some solution. what should I do to make my phone work faster,smoother, long charging

hi am using this mobile from six months onward, am getting issues.
Always mobile getting switch if am not touching also. Pl let me know the solution for this problem

There is no any option is to be present in this phone to identify the sim 1 and sim 2 data if we use both sim for same operator

Has its problems but all of them can be solved. Has only 5.5 GB of useable internal memory -> get a high speed micro sd card and integrate it as internal memory (this is a new feature of android 6). Camera takes long to load up and is glitchy in snapchat, battery life can be poor -> install cyanogen mod (this will unfortunately void the warranty).
Only problem left is that the lack of ram makes it impossible to play Pokemon go in built up areas. Other than that, this is an awesome phone for the price, get a good screen protector and you've got a very capable durable phone that wont cost you the world if you lose it.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2016can i play pokemon go on this You can, but its glitchy to the point of unplayable in built up areas because it only has 1gb of ram and pokemon go requires 2gb. You can increase the ram if you root your phone, but thats risky and will void the warranty of the phone.

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2016I can not delete one particular number from call log. All ... moreOpen CALL LOG, select the number you need to delete, SAVE to contacts with any name, eg xyz. EXIT. go to CONTACTS, select xyz,opt for DELETE,confirm YES DELETE. EXIT.
Check call log. The xyz will not appear.

Worst Mobile ever used... Hangs too much ... heating problem... bad battery backup... too much time to charge... iff you opens more than 2 apps its like hell...

I can not delete one particular number from call log. All call log have to delete. Is there any solution of my problem

The screen cracks easily, I dropped mine from a low height (hip height) onto carpet and the screen cracked terribly, I've just had this phone under one year! Gutted trash now!

It is made to use for 1 Year. Motorola,TRAI,Consumer Forum or administration, anyone has no control over the service centers .The service centers are being robbery in day light to the customers .My phone just felt down from my pocket and the display was broken.Later I went to service center and they asked Rs 6500 for the same. Also my charger connector had a loose connection ,they asked Rs 2500 for changing the same. If the two part's Replacement price is (6500+2500) RS 9000,then total replacement price would be 3-4 new mobiles.What should I do with my Phone ? What message are giving the sellers - don't repair mobile but buy new one? If there no regularity or authority to resist the damage of public wealth?

It sucks!!! So many problems to be dealt with. Did the factory reset but then also was not able to listen to the songs through the earphones. Every time i want the ringtone to be changed paste it to the ringtone folder... Duh!!!
