It sucks!!! So many problems to be dealt with. Did the factory reset but then also was not able to listen to the songs through the earphones. Every time i want the ringtone to be changed paste it to the ringtone folder... Duh!!!

had this phone for a year and a half almost, till i smashed it.
never dropped it before, but was drunk and it fell out of my pocket when looking for wallet, and display cracked. this being the 1st and only time i dropped it. got mad and smashed it to pieces.
before this:
battery life was very short, if browsing web 3g or using fb mess, would only last for about 6-7 hours. after a year it really started to slow down, going into apps, or opening them. sometimes when receiving calls the menu wouldn't pop up so i wasn't able to answer, or the phone kept being locked. lots of bugs with the calls, outgoing/incoming. would sometimes restart for no reason. by the point of smashing it, i was getting really fed up with it. the only good thing was the camera, which took excellent pics for 8mp. better than my friends samsung galaxy s4.
also, it only came with the data cable (no charger), battery was incorporated so no easy change/repair possible, and couldn't find any covers for it to keep it safe (summer 2015), cause motorola didn't make any for the 2nd gen.
it heats very fast on calls, or when playing games. also when charging, it gets really hot. all of this can't be good long term.
recently the mini-sd card i had in it wasn't getting detected. tried the card on other phones and had no problem. i have no idea why it was broken.
read a lot of reviews before buying that praised it, but now i'd slap the "pros" that wrote them. also, it wasn't a cheap phone, when i bought it, it went for ~220 Euro.
it's not a total piece of crap but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It dosent have music player ; hav to use google play music only
No file manager.

Had this phone for about a year, works great, very excellent phone. I just got a problem with the audio jack as it does not work, and with the battery life of this; though I think this was a used phone before I bought it.

Well at first it was good as we have few app installed.....
But then after 1 year it shows its true color.when you connect your wifi for sometimes u can't use your mobile to do anything, it goes to hang mode...
And battery is also very bad...
Even after installing marshmallow it has not get any better...sometime it restart itself....but some point for the camera it's good and I do no have to go to mobile store for any reason....
It gets cured itself..

My Moto G2nd gen has deteriorated since I changed to the latest OS - crashes, takes forever to charge, and battery seems to have sprung a leak - it runs down so fast now. I regret the upgrade and don't advise it. Tell me about the cm13. Thanks.

Experts Want to change the phone battery. Please help me with this . Service center guys wants Rs.1500.00 for that . its too much for an old phone. Which battery to order online and I will get it changed with some local guy. Please advice.

I was getting disappointed after suffering from low battery and slow performance, but after getting the 5.0.2>>>6.0 I absolutely love this phone.
I will change it soon tho, it's 2016 bro.

Used to be the flagship phone when I purchased Moto G 2nd gen , back in 2014 October. Sadly it is not reliable after a year. Even before one year, it started giving me troubles in terms of charging port. The after sale service is also very poor guys. They kept me waiting for almost a month and told that the charging port issue will not be covered by the guarantee. I had to pay for a whole new set of motherboard. Even after the repair, the charging port was giving me headache. Then of course the heating is also too much.. especially when you're on youtube or gaming and even while charging.. The battery back up is very poor .. lasts for a very few hours if you're on Data/3G. WiFi is manageable though(if youre not using youtube or downloading stuff).. The phone gets super slow eventually and the app updating is super duper slow in playstore.. Camera used to be above average in the initial days..but after a software update that sucked too. Takes longer to click and load pictures. Never going for a Moto phone again.. Though its a great phone if you're planning to gift it to parents or elders who use minimally...

realy i am so sad about this moto g mobile becose after 6th month of purches i suffring trouble when i m talking 10-25 min the phone heated and screen like frinkpan ....

gets slow quick, at first it's a really fast and reliable phone but after 1 year it's really slow, it feels like the ram is decreasing because i can't even switch between messenger and facebook! never buying a motorola again after this horrible experience!
