One of the most comfortable phones EVER! Didnt like today's glass phones that you must put on cases if you want to use it normally. Still have it for my backup phone and still work perfectly fine. 2gb ram model. Great camera on day conditions btw. Love this old Moto.

Beware of Motorola/Lenovo warranty support. Awhile ago i broke the SIM card slot of my unit and after sending it for repairs (which took two weeks...), they refused to repair it - said there was corrosion caused from water. On a waterproof phone... Which is totally working otherwise...

Got the 8GB version of this phone for about two years now, a year ago I rooted it and installed LOS (at my own risk of course), and I have to say this phone is a beast! It really seems like it could last a lifetime, with the proper case and screen protector, which I have. I dropped it countless times and it looks and performs like the first day (maybe even better, after the whole rooting and updating thing). All this said, I can't help but pointing out a little bright spot near the center of the screen, which has me a little worried, I'm not sure about what's causing it, but it seems to be some hardware related issue, like something pushing the screen from behind. Anyway, it seems to be harmless, since it has been around for over a year and it hasn't affected the normal functioning of the phone, so totally recommended.

I have the 2 GB RAM version, it has been working without problems for two years

Search on YouTube for example for, Moto G3rd Gen games, since games test the processor properly, or maybe Moto G3rd Gen speed or create your own keywords to search for on YouTube.

AnonD-721388, 12 Jan 2018Think before you buy. Think of how you are planning to use ... moreRooting Motorola phones will breach a person's warranty and besides Marshmallow besides numerous things that can be done should substantially reduce battery life:
Reducing the display light, setting the sleep mode to 2 minutes reducing things unnecessarily running in the background, the weaker the wi-fi signal the faster the battery will drain.
Shortening the animation scales within Settings > Developer Options >; Window animation scale = 0.5x, Transition animation scale = 0.5 and Animator duration scale = 0.5x
I did in my previous post included a link to YouTube to verify that rooting is unnecessary but it was probably banned.
