Has anyone from Europe received Marshmallow update yet? I'm talking about unlocked models. I'm asking because i'm not sure if this update should be available worldwide now but my European unlocked model still says it's up to date. Please respond.

Guys I am planning to buy this. Only one thing is bothering me. Does it have a compass sensor. I searched all the net and did not find it.
Previously I was using Moto E and the absence of compass sensor really hurt me during navigation as the phone was unable to guess which direction I was facing. After I started to walk in a particular direction then only the phone figured my direction.
Can anyone run a compass app on this phone and post the results.

md, 19 Jan 2016guyz is it really necessary for the factory reset. please help mehey md !!! ......a factory reset is very must for a phone that too after an update !!!!!.
cuz .....the system update that u download is a compressed ...to 445 mb or so !! ....to instal it in the system the phone unpacks the compressed data ...and makes it ready for installation ...here the data which is unpacked is a temporary installation files ...which is a complete waste after the new system update has been installed into the phone !!! so u definetley need to clear it or u may come across some weird things happening to ur phone !!! like battery draining/ lagginess/mic or speaker problems/automatic response etc etc etc
to say it simple !!!...think like
u have a bag full of sh..it in a well maintained ,polished ,cleaned house !!! which may cause viruses to spread ......
that bag full of sh..it is the temporary os files ...so it must be cleaned with a factory reset and a cache partiton reset.....do those ..and i am damn sure u r gonna fall in love with g3 ....
its damn smooth !!!

Has no bs on it, no bloatware or any of that other sh*t that makes the phone crawl. It's fast, has a nice brilliant screen and is perfect for what I use a phone for...talk, text and moderate internet. If that's what you want, this is the phone for you.

if any one has problems ( like frozen screen or related problems) after android 6-just do a hard reset. wow it works beautifully after that.

I am using Moto G3 with Marshmallow. It is not scanning my BLE based health instruments. But Moto G2 with Lollipop is scanning very well..:(

i am from india.i got problems in data connectivity after the android 6 update.some times its hard to connect.Afte turning off data
the H or E symbol doesnt re appear..
pls help
