I bought a Moto G Power only 9 months ago and the volume control button fell out. The cheap plastic wore out after not even a year. I called Motorola and was told this is not covered by their so-called warranty. Not only is the phone a piece of junk but so is their warranty.

    I like to play android games on my device and now that this phone is over a year old I can see the demand catching up but this phone is still relevant.

      I was writing review it sent it on it's own.Of course battery is dead good thing I don't talk on it because you can't most if the time , it is so slow online will not open pages, touch screen is junk. The price is really high for something that is less than half of what reviews and specs say. I have talked to cricket few times did nothing, i have tried Motorola can't talk to a person I tried chat & email both Motorola and cricket went in person to cricket store that did no good I'm stuck with a piece of junk

        My G power was sold to me by Cricket biggest selling point was battery life 3 days only way i get 3 days is to charge it 4 times, i mainly listen to my downloaded music but built in Google assistant stops the music after couple songs I broke up Moto Crui was a better phone and was much fastereverything that can be is off

          In my case, I really like the design and maneuverability in my hands of this cell phone, the battery life is great but in despite of the decent specs on paper, sometimes it lags very often (I don't play heavy games), the Bluetooth gets on without notice and the most annoying thing is that I miss my calls everyday even showing my carrier's signal bars on screen, ppl keeps asking me why I shut off my cell phone because they can't contact me via normal phone call when really the device is on. I like Motorola's but I'll pass on this model. I'm fed up!

            I snagged this phone on Amazon for $230. You really won't find a better name-brand phone with these specs and this battery life at this price. Here's my advice/caveats:

            1. If you are a "gamer" get a different phone.
            2. If you NEED NFC, get a different phone (no NFC on this puppy).
            3. If you NEED wireless charging, get a different phone.

            Apple, the Pixel 4x and 5x phones, and other high-end Androids (read: much pricier) will get better pics for you. But comparing a thousand-dollar+ phone with this one is just silly. Be realistic. For a third or fourth the price, you get much more than a third or fourth the overall quality/usability with this phone.

            I recommend the 2020 model over the 2021 model. For some reason, Motorola downgraded the display, speakers (actually only ONE speaker on the 2021), and cameras. Go figure.

                This phone has a good battery, size and is easily rootable, but I don't like the lag in games so i'm upgrading to poco x3 pro. wish me luck

                  This is one of the better phones I've had, the battery life is amazing and from the build you wouldn't know it. Any problems I've read others having are software related and easily fixed by factory resting and installing the proper updates, also a wide variety of custom roms are available.

                      Of all the phones I have ever had, this is by far the worse. It calls my contacts on it's own, often several times a day I was waiting for a call from my office IT department and it turned on "do not disturb." It shuts ring off by itself It attempted to change the app launcher, and as a result it was a paperweight until I could get an appointment with a tech at target. The Consumer Cellular techs were baffled. Three times when I had ordered food delivery it shut the ringer off. At first the sound was excellent then suddenly the volume became weak. The GPS is worthless It refuses to give me verbal directions anymore. When I complained to the carrier I was told it was too late to return it. It does so much weird stuff I believe it is possessed. I named it after Steven King's creation "Christine."

Motorola really did a good job with this g power. The 2021 model is actually a downgrade in more ways than one. I got a nice case for it. There's a few things i noticed, like there is some shadowing around the selfie cam when you have a light/white background, but that's just LCD technology, it does that on any phone with an LCD display. I haven't upgraded to 11 yet, I'm very happy with 10, but in order to get security updates I'll eventually have to upgrade to 11. And as I understand 11 will be the last OS update we will get on this phone. But I'm very happy with mine, awesome purchase

                              I spent a little money on apps including Nova Launcher, disabled much of google and this phone is a beast.

                              G Power has:

                              Nice screen - Full HD Display
                              Records in 4K
                              Has FM tuner
                              Great Battery Life
                              Excellent Sound for Price Paid.

You should really do more research before griping so much. Your phone can be as good as you make it or as bad as you allow it to be.

                                        Android 11 is now seeding to unlocked models xt2041-4. I'm on consumer cellular TMobile and got my software update notification. Comes with February security patch, boy is Motorola behind in security updates.
