Bought this Moto G Power 2020 a week ago. My Sony Xperia 2 was the 3G hangman's list.
For those of you not familiar with Sony Xperia phones. Go to Amazon and read the reviews. The Xperia was a class act 7 years ago. Moto G Power 2020 had some big shoes to fill on half the money I spent for Sony. Throw in the fact I'm not a tech freak.
I'm pleased with the Moto G Power. Does everything the Sony did and more No issues, cliches or hang ups. Fast, clear and crisp. The Moto is not as bullet proof as the Sony was out of the case. But after $20 for screen protectors and case, its as bullet proof now! Takes a little acclamation to the "no" back button. Once you get used to it, its faster and more natural. Not preloaded w b.s apps you can't get rid of. I would only recommend getting the full 128 GB. The 64 will be ok for me, but for the rest of you, its a little lite. Great phone so far.

Nit pickers posting here. This phone does everything you need and the price/value is unbeatable! If you want perfection get an 8 x more expensive iPhone.

I have never posted a negative opinion about a phone in my life but this phone has been a daily source of frustration and inconvenience because, in my opinion, design flaws make it difficult to use.
the boot up process is loud, flashy and waaaay too long
subtle repositioning of your fingers when holding the phone can result in the phone powering off mid-converstion, or in a change in volume settings you did not intend.
certain apps don't work well anymore: certain filles won't save to dropbox, receipt hog image downloads can't be found
For some reason I HAVE to use Google photos . There's no picture gallery. I don't want Google photos.
I have to enter my passcode on a teeny little line using the qwerty keyboard which results infrequent mistyping.
There are no buttons. You can only swipe.
The camera is either hard to figure out, or it takes bad pictures.
The main problem is that i wind up missing tons of calls and texts because of accidentally putting the phone on silent or do not disturb. The settings on the phone get altered in ways that I don't understand--or at least are nt obvious to new users ad that is a real pain.

Worst smarthophne I've ever bougth.
Technical assistance very bad.
APP and storage with a lot conflicts issues.
suddenly started turn off the cell without command.
I'm really disappointed.

Great phone but the Bluetooth microphone is very scratchy and barely audible when making calls.

I'm very happy with this phone so far. Battery usually lasts two days on a charge(!) and everything about the phone works just fine. I've steered clear of flagship phones since the Galaxy S5 turned out to be such a lemon and cheaper phones have continued to raise the 'good enough' bar. I'll see how long it lasts, but it's a great phone so far.

I had this phone two weeks and returned it. piece of poop. Gboard used 350mb in 1 week, I uninstalled gboard and got SwiftKey. I disabled gboard and cleared cache forced stop etc. gboard still used data. chrome locked up on I was forced to use firefox. the main rear camera is absolutely dreadful! my S8 takes way better picture then this phone. I had two other unknown apps chew data as well. oh and the 3 day battery. nah I got 1 and a half days. additionally this phone wants you to be logged in and using all of Google's apps and services it feels like I'm chained to google and there products and I didn't like that. anyway it's gone now thank goodness.
pros: the speaker was good. great sound when using headphones.

I was basically lied to by all the ... moreYou must be doing something terribly wrong, this phone rocks in every way, you probably don't know how to use it, we have 18 of them in my business for our sales reps and they absolutely love them with no issues at all. Your phone must be a returned defect that could happen to any phone made, I suggest you get a fresh new one. If you still have problems then it's you doing something wrong.

My old phone is an iPhone X which still works fine and has a great camera, but I prefer this phone because I like the larger screen. The camera on the G power isn't as good as the iPhone but it works fine for most photos and works better if you use a Google Camera port.

Does this phone have a blinking notification light on the face to alert you that you've received a missed call, text or movement on your security camera?
Does this phone allow you to change the notification sounds? I don't want the same notification sound for everything. Thanks!
