Smartphone maker Motorola has been working on a new device lately called Moto M. Speculations regarding the company’s much-anticipated flagship have for quite some time.
Now recent reports seemed to have leaked information regarding its release date and specifications.
The smartphone, which is stated to release some time in December this year, will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 pixel resolution.
According to a post published by Tech Droider, the device will run on 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor.
Additionally, the smartphone is expected to offer 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. Another variant of the same device that will be sold outside China may come with 3GB RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage. Both sets will offer microSD card support of up to 128GB.
As far as the camera is concerned, one can expect a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with possible finger scanner on the back of the device.
The main highlight of the Moto M is however, its speculated 5100mAh battery. The device will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. The device is expected to come in a full metal body.

I expect a "removable battery". I also expect IP68 and I get neither. It seems to be a bit "thick" at 8mm when the rest of the world is 7mm or lower. The only thing that might save this phone is if it is very inexpensive. It certainly is NOT top shelf.

We are starting November with fresh Moto M images and leaked specs coming from Steve Hemmerstoffer. The popular NowhereElseFr editor and OnLeaks superstar has a good track record preceding him, so we would say this is as legit as leaks can get.
The new images showcase the new smartphone surrounded by other Moto products. It does follow the same metal uni-body design we have seen in the past. We can also see the fingerprint reader placed on the back of the handset, a new move for Moto devices, which tend to sport this hardware in the front.
The leak comes with a set of specs that more or less follow previous murmurs. The unit is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 display, a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio P15 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 13 MP main camera, an 8 MP front shooter and a 3050 mah battery

Overall, sounds like a very nice mid-range phone, but the processor is... meh.
If it'll be priced $250, it'll sell.

The battery spec on here is wrong. The source of the 5100 mAh rumor confused it with the Lenovo P2 (by their own admission). All other rumours point towards a 3000 mAh

zack, 31 Oct 2016agreed!Yeah but now updated specs(rumors) say that it will have helio p10 chipset which won't have efficiency like snap625 and also performance like snap 617 only (and also no custom Rom support) so definitely not worth it
