Motorola is the 2nd best Android phone after Google to give best software experience

        Then even Apple is not a flagship it does not use flagship grade charging speeds and a flagship grade mAh cell 5000+.
        Same goes for S22 Ultra.
        Also come with not enough megapixels.

        And honestly i understand you too but to me this phone have everything a flagship grade device needs mostly a price which anyone can afford.

        If something is really expensive it does not means its a flagsip.
        ZTE Axton 40 Aerospace edition cost 800 half of Samsung Sony or Apple best phone of the year and is way better in every aspect.

        Good battery, fast charging speeds, good cpu and gpu and a worthy camera.
        Rest you can adjust via updates which does nto cost anything.

          Can't say that this device makes me excited or impressed.....I mean apart from the 8 Gen 2, I can't really say that is any better than the X30 pro....but anyways, they might just as well release an X40 Pro cause this is not worth to be named a flagship

            Is seems you are clueless and blindly accepting whatever marketing says lol. Sd card are still relevant for secondary storage for everyone who need extra stuff without worrying too much pressure to internal since is irreplaceable without change mobo when it going wrong, or just backup without worrying internet connection aka offline. Microsd is more easier to recover than useless encryption feature on soc to nand storage which is not usable. Cloud storage is not an replacement for sd card, never, they just forced you to bought the subscription even you rarely to used it.

            SD Cards are basically just for poor people whose phones have an 8 gb rom lol

            Radio - who even uses radio nowadays?? Many country is still have radio dude, you just drunk?

            Maybe in poor countries, but people with enough pocket money to buy this phone wont need radio. Besides, fyi this phone does have radio.

            Audio jack - what speakers have an audio jack nowadays? everything is Bluetooth now!
            Nope, professional equipment is still used wired one because wireless is still have huge delay, lower bandwidth, and have power problem on it. You just getting fooled by marketer to bought their bad product called tws.

            And what professional in their right mind would use their phone for professional music?? That's what music equipment is for.

            Ips display - an archaic technology only used in 80 dollar phones.
            Lol what? Oled and amoled are an failed tech product. At beginning they claim it as cheap alternative, longer durability and power effecient to ips. In reality is more expensive, prone to burn out, high power usage on many cases (specially on brighter color), over satured than ips. Even the vendor like LG claim they cannot remove the limitation of oled tech. Is no wonder until now we rarely to see monitor with oled, except on tv. Most of vendor are already migrate to hybrid solution (ips+oled) on newer model of tv.

            Since when are we talkin about tvs??? Wake up bro, its almost 2023 and all phones above 300 dollars have an led display.

                  Now I get why do you call Pixel 7 series a mid-range devices. Well that explained a lot. Thanks for your opinion but I obvously disagree with your statement that phone with just a flagship chipset can be considered as one of those flagships we see every year compared with other flagships out there. Motorola is missing from that list. You know, the ones who are compared in every single aspect of the phone. Not just a chipset. Look at the other components and compare them just on paper and then search for reviews and see for your self where is Motorola.

                  Don't get me wrong, I really wanted Motorola to continue their success since they sold out to Google and later Lenovo, but this here, that's not Motorola I want to see. This looks like some generic Chinese phone with Motorola logo slapped on. I would like to see Motorola make a true flagship, so they can push others like Huawei did. But this phone just aint that.

                    you have to suffer, 25 Dec 2022just keep your edge 30 ultra until it stops working.I have used moto phones before I never had any complaints. They live more than most of the smartphones out there. I still I have moto G5s from past 5 yrs and it's still working fine.

                      just wait until apple became portless then android phone companies follow them. and the fans would say the same as audio jack. its probably useless to wait for usb c 4.0 if they actually did it. they are just accepting companies what they do. because they focus on statistics. not opinions. removing sd card and audio jack doesnt make it convenient. in reality, it is the opposite.

I don't get it. If you're so satisfied with it why are you so concerned with other phones. In China the current price of the Oppo find x5 and Moto x40 is similar. I'd go for the x40 between these two. You'd go for the Oppo find x5. That's fine. They each have certain advantages. The mi11 ultra did not support 4k on the selfie cam. Never said Huawei doesn't support 4k selfie video btw

                            you have to suffer, 25 Dec 2022you are accepting what companies do. just wait in the futu... moreIt's not accepting of what companies do, plenty of devices with headphone jack and microsd, it seems that you can choose between higher storage options and faster storage vs lower capacity and slower storage speeds but with a microsd slot. It's so easy to wirelessly transfer data it has become pretty much a useless feature now. (Sony phones keep them but are incredibly expensive because of it)

                            My Bluetooth headphones have about 40 hours battery with ANC active, lasts me about 2 weeks on a single charge and I use mine daily. Also 5 mins charge gives about 2 hours battery so it really isn't that bad anymore (even with earbuds they get decent battery now and you can charge earbuds on your phone, its not 2013 anymore).

                            Type C dongles work perfectly well so no idea what you're talking about, only device I know has problems with type C dongles are the pixel series, my 6 pro is the only device I've known that has problems with the type C dongle (my old P40 pro and current find X5 work perfectly with it).

                                  just wait in the future until a charging port remains as outdated and irrelevant feature😃😃 anyways, i could live without radio and sd card as i store a lot of mp3 and flac audio files. 3.5mm is only needed. i dont want bluetooth earphones.. you have to charge every 30 minutes. what happens in blackout situation and you are late to charge your earphones?? too bad. you have to use the speaker so your music can be heard on other people!! dont tell me about usb c dongles. they dont work and have to buy branded ones like samsung and apples.

                                      There is not much of a difference between my Moto edge 30 ultra and Moto X40 which may launch globally as Edge 40 pro. Only difference is Ip rating, processor and the camera module. Rest it's exactly same. Only problem I find is they should work on the Android updates. Rest the phone looks great specs wise.
