After updating Android 8.0, battery is poor and the phone can be used as usual only 4 - 6 hours.

I m using Moto z since last year I also upgrade the software but suddenly while using fone or camera it's turn off and also it's CPU heat up and battery life is so poor I have to charge my fone twice a day ....

I m using Moto z since last year it's Bater life is not so good even it's turn off when it's has more then 50% charge and also the fone CPU heat up I have to charge my fone two to three times daily .... Any solution why it's turn off and heat up .

Never again a Motorola. Thank you Lenovo for the distraction of a life long dream of mine. (Having a Motorola phone). The reasons are as follow:
1- The Bluetooth never worked properly from day one.
2- The camera has been always below average.
3-The hardware and concept bod the z series are good, but the software is rubbish. With the first update the battery life decrease to half and with the recent one it decreased one quarter.
4-The Android 8 update has problem with the LtE service and I'm always stuck on edge aervice.
5-Please keep in mind this phone is less then a year old, and no I will not send my phone to service, rather will not give good comments or buy an Motorola again.
I will install a costum rom on it and 8f it doesn't. Become better it goes to trash.
So in conclusion I have to say good concept, I just wish it was done by some other company.

Hey Guys, Just bought Moto Z Dual Sim XT1650-03
But it can't detect SIM cards, tried different SIM cards on the 2 slots, nothing detected.
The SD Card works fine though.
The Phone is on Android 7.0
Does anyone have ideas to help?

I have no real complaints. It's easy to root and flash custom ROMs. With a good battery mod it lasts 2 days.
Guess I've been lucky, it runs smooth and fast. Thinking about getting a pixel xl or a 3t but it still works great.

Its one of the best phones available with SD820 in the market right now and if you aren't a heavy gamer, you wouldn't really need 835 or the upcoming 845 as the phone is fairly capable of handling all of your everyday tasks!
Also, Oreo in India is also available now.

Terrible phone and terrible manufacture, no usbc headphones in box, (Huawei give you them) overprices cases that u do need for the moto mods to work seamlessly, My phone only lasted 11 months before dying, thank god it didn't last another few weeks or it would have been out of warranty. Still waiting on Motorola paying my refund after sending back my phone 13 weeks ago as they cant repair it or provide a replacement, support is sooooo bad, will never use or recommend another Motorola phone, Lenovo are living on a name that is dead.

I used this one year. But this battery was over heating. At now battery did not support properly. if i remove it from power bank it was closing. Very worse with in a year.

In my country samsung made in vietnam, hard pass a year, battery drain fast, Motorola far better quality

I am using this phone from past 6 months. As my experience overall please don't buy this phone.. it is always stuck up. Each time I have to restart this.. and the main issue is over heating.. waste of my 1700riyals
