I update my Moto Z Play to Android 7.0 security patch 1 March 2017, so far no problem at all. And I also don't face camera app error again.

After reading your comment I am pretty sure that you are trolling. This is the best ever phone which is giving me excellent service for more than one year. So, troll somewhere else.

This is a such a crappy phone that I can't tell
The phone has got rooting problems it cannot install SuperSU and can only use magisk
If you forcefully install SuperSU it might get bricked
Then if you downgrade this phone into previous version then also gets brick
Simple twrp won't work,you have to use a modded twrp.
Before buying I thought it would be easy for this phone to enable root access as it runs stock android
I won't recommend this phone if anyone has an intention of rooting it in future

After one year fabulas performance with this battery beast i found Moto z play charger issue. While charging device battery signal apear empty. I dont know why this happening i try reset phone but problem persist. Battery does not charge with rapidly with charger. Anyone has solution for this problem please help me.

I update my Moto Z Play to Android Nougat 7.0 security patched 1 Feruary 2017. So far no problems I found and also I don't face camera error please restart. Let's see if there is bug again later after several months use.

Great phone only thing I was not expecting is the headphones are low quality and charger is great but different (you can't use any other charger other then company provided) implying you need to carry your charger always if traveling ...on positive note battery is oosam it performs far more better then I expected it's vooping more then 30 hours flat even though I downloaded 32 apps up update my new phone system update and logging in new using savaan all the time camera continuously.
Cons...
1. Charger is must in case u are using phone for more then 24hrs (i mean a type c charger ) regular charger won't work. But battery back 24 hrs for sure even under heavy usage
2. FM like any other high end phone
3. U need a cover back glass scratches are abundant even though front glass is great.
4. U need a cover the back panal it tends to slip away.
Pros
1. Best in class and higher class battery back up.
2. Best in class speed and performance
3. Great sensors almost everything covered
4. Type C Charger add Type-C to USB so now you can add mouse Keyboard and Pendrive to your phone (Tried Hard Disc but it did not support it powered the hard disc but did not show in file manager)

When my Moto Z Play running Android 6.0.1 build number MPNS24.104-44-10, I've have once experienced can't operate camera apps, it was said, "error, please restart camera". So, I did restart my phone, and the phone camera works normally again. Today, I do update my phone again to build number MPNS24.104-44-16, this is the third time I do update. It is still based on Android 6.0.1. Next the Android Nougat, I haven't download.
Hope no problem with camera restart again.

Used it for 3 days now, bought it white color option. So far this Moto Z Play is very good, i like, battery life is impressive, no lag. internet, calling, streaming, camera fast, work fine. The charging is very fast, Turbo charger comes in the box. This Moto Z Play dones't has LED notification, so the LCD will show time, notification every time your hand wave near the above of the phone. When the phone is being charged, no light, no sound, and no sound after 100%. Overall, it is the best Android smartphone that I ever used.

Just bought this phone 2 weeks ago and I really must say it has excellent battery life and very fast and smooth user interface (the nearly pure android is really beautiful), the loud speaker is very clear and loud enough, the screen is amazing in the sun, very fast fingerprint. and really nice hand gestures by motorola.
my only weak point is the camera images are some times very soft and smooth
