Moto Z Play,,,,,Disppointed,,,,camera does not work,,in for repair twice,,,can't fix ,,,,out of service two months,,,customer service is terrible,,,should have bought an I-Phone...do not recommend Motorola,, once a leader now ,,,,not even close,,,,junk !

Koushik, 24 Nov 2017I was using samsung flagship Galaxy s6 edge for a year and ... moreso true! having this moto z play for quite a while now and i am so loving it. not even an iphone x or bezelesa phones interests me. z plays battery life and androids cuStomizable homescreen shortcuts, are just too amazing and practical to everyday. for me front fingerprint sensor also suits me, loving the mods too+++:D

I was using samsung flagship Galaxy s6 edge for a year and I was too frustrated due to its pathetic battery life(had to charge 3 times a day). Then I moved to Moto Z play and I am amazed by the performance of a $400 phone. The battery life is really good and gives a full day without charging for a heavy user like me. After 1 years of usage the phone is still very responsive and never hangs. I can't think to use any other phone not even Iphone.

After the October Update, my battery life improve around 5 to 10 percent and at the end of the day i have left around 55 to 60 percent battery left, previously at the end of the day i mostly got 48 percent left at the end of the day. So improvement in my case.

Yesterday I install Latest patch i.e. 118-22-2-3 . I have little issue with battery little bit drain fast compare before instlallation . Is any body like this or other issues please tell me . I installed latest security patch .

I just bought one 3 weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. I love Motorola mid range devices, I previously had the Motorola XPlay is still works with a cracked screen I'm planning to unlock it and repair it. These phones are pure Android so it has the perfect Android experience. Crisp screen, easy to use, with a normal Chip not as powerful but good enough for me. It looks very clean and elegant and up to date is working fine without lags or anything. Battery life is ridiculous and the Mods are
fun.
Camera is sub par on this phone, that's a down side, and also is a thick heavy phone, I guess they have to hide that powerful battery some place.

Dude first of all you never had this device u r just trolling.
This is ma 1 yr experience with ma moto z play ..
BEST SMARTPHONE IN ITS PRICE RANGE. Battery performance is outstanding, no lags, no hangs . No screen cracks , have couple of dents in the corners of the aluminum frame. CPU performance is also best in class . I played asphalt 8, asphalt xtreme, real racing 3 etc no lags . Coming to camera performance only downside is the low light performance and no 4k video stabilization (only full hd video stabilization) but that's ok still best in class and the selfie cam with flash is superb

bought three Z Play from Verizon. I was at work out of town, usually where there is no signal. Within a week, one screen cracked and the second screen cracked 2 days after that. I called to let them know (Verizon) and they said cant do anything for you unless they are returned within 14 days. I dont know which is worse, couphing up the 1800 bill to verizon or having two broken phones i could have lied about, got insurance on em and turned them in. i guess thatsb i get for being honest.
