sanjay, 14 Mar 2017I updated to nougat 7 .no issues till now.. i AM USING FROM... moreany phone with quick charge, turbo, dash charge. will produce enormous amount of heat.
If our phones are cooled in a different way, manufacturers can implement charging in minutes. but there's the heat problem. you'll notice any quick charge implementation for any manufacturer, it charges fast the first 2/3 of the cycle. then slow down. to cool the unit itself while charging.
its perfectly normal, but if you are worried, just turn off the turbo charge feature.

In my personal opinion.
the moto z play is the overall better phone. the moto z is too thin and the battery capacity for the display is not good enough.
And the consistency on performance is at par with the more expensive moto z. The battery lasts 1.5x than my iphone 7 plus. which says a lot! i can easily get 2 days on moderate use. and a full day on heavy use with data on.
You cannot go wrong with the z play!
and if ever you decide to upgrade. moto mods are still compatible! win win

Definitely the phone is up-to-date with the features and performance especially with the latest Nougat update available now on Moto Z Play. However after using this phone for 6 months I would strictly not recommend it for users who expect a little bit of ruggedness in their phone. Apparently the display of this phone cannot handle much pressure and cracks easily thus forcing you to spend another 9 grands in the first year itself.
Hence my advise to people who are looking for a good rugged phone this is an absolute no-no, maybe any Samsung model will far surpass it in this department. And for people who already own a Moto Z Play, suggest you take extra care and first thing you should do is get a hard case for it.
And most of all very distressing service from Lenovo/Motorola.

Not only this model, any mobile that have 2.5 d glass will noy get complete glass.

product is fine but some of the defects is battery is have to improve more b cze i ts looking very nice and nice advanced feautures and all are is fined and well to say am using this from last two months but there is no kind of problems in this product so please have to improve battery life in this product after that every company will be down in front of moto

The best phone overall in this price tag.
I have been using this phone for a few weeks. It's really an awesome phone.
The best parts are:-
1. Battery backup (easily lasts beyond a day with just a single charge)
2. Display ( AMOLED with proper colours)
3. No heating issues. ( This phone has no overheating issues. I play games and surf the internet , but this phone does not heat up at all, the maximum it might just be warm, but never hot)
4. The phone is super fast and has no lags. The processor is good enough.
5. Sound quality is awesome ( both speaker and headphone output)
6. This phone has three separate slots. Two slots for SIM cards, one for MICRO SD. So you can use two sim cards and one memory card simultaneously.
7. The camera is good at this range ( not as good as samsung cameras but it's okay type) The front camera comes with a flash, good in low light.
8. Turbo fast charging.
So guys get this phone if you have the budget. Never get fooled by brands who offer you QUANTITY only. QUALITY Matters. So at this range, MOTO Z PLAY is the best phone.

I absolutely love this phone. I've got it for 5 months already and I can't think of any phone that would fit my needs better. Awesome battery life, it's so cool not to carry a power bank with me all the time!
The only weak point of this phone is it's camera, but as I don't take many pictures, it's not a problem for me at all. It's enough for the few pictures I take and for snapchat.

Never buy this phone. The camera is worst when compared to s6 edge+, S7 edge, even honor 6. Auto focus is completely bad. For the price of MZP , S7 edge is best in class.

Moto X play it´s a great phone... The batery is amazing... I just received Nougat in Mexico and still great. If you buy it, also buy a back cristal protector, and try to protect the cristal of the rear camera... just... do it.

Samsung C7 is the same size but with a 5.7 " screen. Lenovo reduce the bezels of this phone or increase screen size!
And add double speakers.

Can anyone please let me know good tempered glass protection for Moto Z Play which covers 100% of screen (on both sides) and also available in India? The problem is most of the tempered glass does not cover right and left sides. If anyone has got, please reply.
