It is an excellent mobile with two days battery backup, good camera and no scratches on camera lens. I am using transparent back cover which gives it an elegant look. I am glad that I didnt purchase one plus 3t.

The back side glass and camera also has this Water repellent nano-coating. This coating/plastic layer might be getting scratches and not the back glass and camera glass. You can officially get answers from support link, https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-Z-Play/bd-p/Moto_Z_Play. Some people have told that they have removed this plastic layer on back glass after getting scratches. It is better to post a question in link I have given here and confirm this. FYI, I have been using this excellent phone since last 3 months, no scratches....

AnonD-646111, 28 Mar 2017No rear camera lens song get starches easily its pure glass... moreEverything is read and written OK for a budget smartphone, only thing that tickles painfully is that rear camera lens getting scratches......for this some wrote they are not facing any such problem....some one has written the camera lens has a protective plastic layer and its getting scratched ...one need to remove that layer.......so still a consusion whats the actual thing.......can any one genuinely comment something for this confusion??????????

No camera... moreNo rear camera lens song get starches easily its pure glass, but rear glass is Corning Gorilla glass 3 starches getting easily, i puted screen protecter at back by modification tooks me 1 hour to cut those screen guard at camera hole and those 16 pins

Hi..im using moto z play..After Nougat update i cant download or update any apps from play store..how can this be fixed or its happening with everyone..
Standing on the era of 4G this phone dialler does not support direct video calling like samsung phones..this is very much irritating & disappointing..otherwise its a nice phone

The Moto Z play's camera lense is pron to scratch and i had plenty of scratches on the len in just few days. Thankfully i returned this cheap product under 10 days replacement/refund policy on fkipkart. And the fkipkart assistance was praiseworthy, i would say why these companies don't look into such little problem? They could've easily given a sapphire or gorilla glass protection on the camera lense but didn't. It's not worth paying 25k for such cheap quality product, although the performance of the phone was doubtlessly excellent.
