Hy, i have this phone for a mounth and no problem with it , like some of you say , the only problem is that the mp3 are not as loud when you put the as a ringtone . Do you have any idee how to boost your mp3 on the phone?????

Very nice phone. I got one. Can watch movie on it and more more..... One bad thing don't have keybord but for smartphone this phone so nice.

i think the motorola mpx220 is a excellent phone as it matches up in feutures wit the nokia 6230i and other new phones.however its appearace is not so hot i think it is perfect for a business phone.

Connect the phone to your computer with he USB cable and use the hotsync feature to put songs or any other files in your phone. Good luck!

Thanks for the advise but it still will not work for me. I did exactly what you said and it just says "error can't set attributes of this file". And another thing, I downloaded a pic for my screen saver and now the key-pad lighting goes off and on. What's up with that??

Does anyone know if it is possible to store songs mp3 style on a mpx220? I am thinking of buying a 1gb sdcard and storing songs on it if I will be able to listen to them with earphones! Any help would be great! Thanks

I've been really wanting to have MPX220 even before because the features are very impressive. Now that I got one, I noticed that it's camera and video are not at par with its competitors. I hope they can come up with a patch or another firmware upgrade to address this soon before I decide to replace it.

Go to - File Manager -
Go to the file u can't delete.
Press Menu, than Properties.
At the bottom you'll see that the checked attributes are Read-Only and System.
Uncheck those attributes.
Voilla!!!! U can now delete that file.

It's a fantastic phone. The combination between Windows Smartphone2003 and a mobile phone it's great. I'm verry glad to have this phone. I bought it brand new. The only problems are the battery (2-3 days) and the poor camera. That's all.

Sorry I wasn't able to help you out with the volume problem that you have. All I can say is that it worked for me. Wish I could be of more help to you. Good luck finding what you need. If I come upon another way to make it louder, I'll post it up here.

hi. actually i am inlove with any microsoft mobile device ever. the reason is it is so easy to synchronize with my desktop and my outlook info. also i believe the menue is easy for me. i also love any flip up phone. so with all this together MPX200 and 220 were my phones.BUT Motorola company simply sucks. and if could sue them i would. first. there is no support for people like us who own an unlocked version of it. you have to be with a carrier. if you are with Cingular then go to cigular, what the ... is this i own a motorola i dont' care what carreir paid you. all i care about is to fix my phone. If you own an Asian version like myself fonts will be a disaster, you will have to do extensive work online to get it fixed and maybe not. Why can't they simply add an option in the menue to change font? Softbotton the same. and when you visit the moto website. they tell you come back later for our upgrade??????????????????????????????????????? Bill Gates should reconsider bonding up with Motorola. I don't know why he does that. There are a lot of fantastic mobile phone companies out there.

The only way I was able to increase the ring volume was to select "OutDoor" mode in the settings, under profiles. It should raise the volume pretty significantly.
Oh by the way, if anyone knows where I can get softwear that'll help delete the pics and some ring tones that came with the phone let me know.
