sss, 15 Oct 2016during calling the screen become dark i cannot see the dial... moreHi, It may be an issue with your display guard/cover. if you have pasted a display guard, see whether it covers the proximity sensor of your phone... there MUST be a little cut or hole in the display guard to keep the proximity sensor exposed.

I just update my Nexus 6 to 7.0 Nougat last 2 weeks a go. Better improvement for battery life. I can spend with my nexus 6 for a day even im surfing play music and mssging. I love My Nexus 6 with Android N.

You'll get it as an OTA update incrementally, but you're better off just going to the Google page and downloading it. https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and download either the OTA (upgrade) for "shamu" or the full system image (best choice, but you need to learn to use Android SDK and executing it to the T will wipe your phone completely).

Downloaded android 7.0 from android.com/beta and fortunately a final version.. super snappy, battery improved and considerable change in yellowish screen to bluish one which looks good...

vikarant, 12 Oct 20164g is supported in India or not please notify meit supports most of 4G band but volte still is not availble. It suport volte service bt still its not enable by google in India, I dnt know it suport volte on global level or not.

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2016Still waiting for update (India) 7.0 updateHi, I am also from India - I upgraded to 7.0 yesterday only and belive me its just super smooth & UI is too good. what I did was enroll to beta version on androd.com/beta - enrolled my device - updated, restarted. After restart - unenrolled. Phone stayed on 7.0 and did not go back to Marshmellow. Upon checking I found that its not a beta version and is a stable release with Oct security patch. Then made a full back up - and then made a factory reset....its awesome.

I updated to 7.0 but still VOLTE an't available on my device despite my carrier support VOLTE service. Anyone who enable VOLTE on n6 device, plz share how to enable.

Guys , Google has updated that policy several months ago .
Nexus 6 will get updates until this years main Android version (Nougat).
That means that N6 will continue getting all versions of Nougat .. (7.1 , 7.2 , etc) until the launch of Android 8 ... which will be the End of support date .
You checked out that link and discovered that N5 end date was Oct 2015 , but what really happened was that N5 received all MM updates until 6.0.1 .
