it's my secnd moto and believe me moto is far better then all nokia and samsung in this bugdet i m using this phone from last 1 month and i m very much impressd with the wi fi speed it is even btr thn what i gt on my laptop
go ahead and buy this peice of art
i just wanna know whether it can be updatedto froyo or not ??????

awesome mobile. I've seen ppl giving cmments like the internet settings is tough. Skip those. this ia ma 1'st moto n its sooooo easy to handle n use. ofcourse may b cuz of android.
anyways, i love this piece n I highly recommend this for those who wanna get it. .
I wud like to give A FEW cons too:
1. cant use many features without microsd card.
2. battery life isn't up 2 d expecations. CHARGE EVERYDAY :(

It's a great phone, my gives 1000+ points on QuadrantPro Benchmark with the latest rom 2.2.

as for the internet, u can easily use it on this phone. call ur network operator and they'll help u to install n start. i used their service n they were very helpful. secondly, it is difficult to use internet thru ths cell in ur laptop or desktop, the settings are weird to use on both computers. they say i'll hav to install PC suite, the one we hav in nokia phones for the internet drivers. try it, may b it'll work.
my concern is, its an amazing phone but the battery life is more than worse. within seconds it goes from 100% charged to 90% and in an hr or so goes to 60%. if u use internet, it wud immediately drop to 30%. has some one got some answers to ths, may b battery boosters or enhancers? thx.

How it is possible? I found this on motorola support sit...
"Dear Valued Customer, your purchased Motorola Quench XT3 is eligible for a free upgrade to Android OS v2.1 together with camera upgrade to 5MP."
It means software change upgrade the camera from 3.2 to 5mp???

The specifications list shows that the phone has FM radio. RDS service depends on the region you are in. FM Radio functionality is available in devices using hardware. You will not be able to "install" an FM Radio through the Android Market!
Does anyone know if this phone has multi touch capability? For pinch to zoom perhaps?

I recieved my order on 4th of November. It was delieverd by blue dart couriers and was well packed. I also recieved One Adidas Jacket and 4 Free movie tickets by motorola.
Now about the phone, first of all the Phone comes with Android 2.1 Eclair which is great. It work fine, no lagging and smooth animations. Battery Life is about 2 days (while using advanced task killer). And No other phone will provide this much features like this Motorola Quench XT3 provides.
3 MP camera, Android 2.1, 320*480 Resolution, 3.2 inch Capacitive touchscreen, 5 home screens, GPS, wi-fi and the list is very long. No other ANDROID phone comes in this range with all these features... Don't believe me??? Find out for yourself...

This phone is manufactured from an ODM FOXCONN in taiwan and moto sells it , FOXCONN launched it in the name of GRECO . Its a MSM7227 Qcomm processor 600Mhz processor , 256KB internal memory and 200 Mhz bus speed .
There are lots of good and bad about it , i will try to go on it one by one .
For first , good design and look , quite slim feels good to handle ....lots of pros , but then lets face the cons .
The haptic interface which are below the screen are not lit , so in dark its all on you figure out which key means what .
The mini-usb point to charge is given a cover which gets scrwed up pretty fast .
Other than these 2 stuff rest everything is ok in the phone ....
This phone supports FM and FM with RDS but there is no software as such for it . so i would say it doesnt support .
Its android 2.1 , upgradeable to 2.2 froyo as per the lots of information that i have got .
The phone has a capacitive touch screen which is the best in class , and since its HVGA the resolution is much better than those with the QVGA's , so this phone hits on the block with the HVGA resolution .
Wifi connectivity is much faster as compared to even my laptop , data enabling is awesome .
The maps and gps navigation is awesome .
The latitude function works pretty well .
Backlight automatic which saves power and works pretty good .
Auto qwerty and rotate functionality is awesome .
touch response is pretty good .
Gallery and videos are good .
Camera is 3mp but still the picture quality is good i liked it .
The best thing is having the trackball which is awesome when uare using a browser and reading things like the newspaper and stuff .. really makes a difference.
It has all the things that the eclairs has like Live wallpapers , good widgets and stuff .
Call handling pretty good .
Video quality when u are using facebook awesome .
messaging aahh good .. not so bad ..
voice quality too good .
Audio music quality not good with the existing music software , download poweramp and it makes all the difference needed .
The games are real fine to play in this phone .
Angry birds , inferno are too good.
The isue with this or any 2.1 phone for that instance is the battery life , lots of seeting need to be doen .. and finally i can take my phone up to 48hrs of backup with fair usage of wifi , data enablement , calls , messages games .
So needs much more battery life .
Over and all this phone is the best in the 13K bracket .
moreover its moto and the moto anroid service is best in class as compared to others .
i would say this is an awesoe device to buy .
