Anonymous, 11 Jun 2009people the battery really sucksThe battery just lasts for half day. I already have it checked by the service center and they admit that it really has bad reputation on battery. In addition, the fone sets itself to normal(vibra) without being selected. It's annoying since you cannot hear. It' so diappointing with its high price

I just have it and let me tell you few things. This is more into style. If you are comparing with others for battery time its not fair. Look at it the buttons are larger with 2 internal and external screen. noise cancellation it has every thing with low price.

I've had this phone for about half a year. I dropped it in water about a month after I got it and I thought it was broken but then a couple of months later it worked!! :)
PROS:
- Works after you drop it in water!
- Large screen
- Easy to text with
- Large second screen, and awsome how it's touch
- Looks amazing!
- Really thin and fits in my tightest jean pocket :P
- Good amount of applications and etc.
CONS:
- Don't like the music button, it should be a shortcut button and user should get to choose what shortcut it takes you to
- Too big when you flip it out
- No stopwatch

well this is one of the most good looking mob available in the market, the only drawback is that it does not support many of the video formats n the speaker vol is a little less. but its cam quality is really good n it makes heads turn when u take it out of ur pocket. razr2 rocks

I had the phone for almost two years and now I use the Nokia E71 and the razor 2. One thing about the V8 that people generally ignore is how good the mic is. The battery life is so terrible because it has built in noise cancelling... Ever wondered how you could talk to somewhere in any environment and they would still hear you perfect? Compare with another phone and be amazed..... Thats why I probably wont get rid of it anytime soon....

I been using the V8 for 2 years and it 've been very good !! the battery weak after 1 year , all you have to do is buy another one in Ebay , cost 5 to 10 buck included s&h !! I tried alot , n95, z610,n72 ,ctec 68 but allway love to use V8 !!

DON'T ever buy this phone. battery life sucks. i don't have it for a year and the charger is broken as well as the 0 button. it also reacts extremely slow with whatever you do. Motorola probably wanted to make a very thin phone (10 mm) without thinking of the capabilities or durability.
