i have this motorola v8 fone for about a year now, sadly, there are lots of scratches, i want to change its housing, but i cant find it in any stores here in manila .. does someone know ?? HELP :)

jj, 21 Apr 2009Is there anyone can tell how can i get a battery for my V8 ... morePlenty of V8 (BX40) batteries in Hong Kong if you happen to be around for about US$20~$30. Most batteries being sold here are genuine from Moto instead of fake ones from mainland China.

Based on my experienced for about 4 yrs now, motorola is always the best.For almost 3 yrs i used to have motorola v3 and i really love it after of few yrs using it and it shows the tiredness of the phone i bought the motorola V8. It's really cool i love it too but now im using it for about a yr the battery cannot last for whole day i have to charge it every night. I'm planning to change to a new battery but it's not available in my place.

Is there anyone can tell how can i get a battery for my V8 phone coz i cannot find this here in bahrain most of the shop are always out of stock i been looking it for how many weeks already.

Naz, 09 Apr 2009about the battery, have you tried to turn off the battery s... moreKeep the brightness to 2 aswell as the Battery Save option as "ON "( Setting -> phone setting -> display setting -> Bightness ), you would not have to charge your battery for min 3 days...

Could anybody share your experience, whether this mo... moreYes it does become a bit warm around its lower back, where the battery is located, when you're on a call for more that 15-20 mins. The same is experienced when you are playing a game or listening to music on it for long. I guess the problem is more with its battery than the phone itself.

Could anybody share your experience, whether this mobile generates lots of heat when you are on a call for around 20-30 minutes.
Currently i own a Nokia 3110 C mobile, which is generating lots of heat when you use it for more than 15 minutes.

Suggestion: For better battery life make sure you charge the phone using the supplied charger only. If you charge it using the USB cable it gives a false message about charging completed though the phone is still not fully charged.

i had this phone for over a year now and it's still working great...i just have a fer problems with it including short battery life and the keypad...i'm thinking of getting a Nokia 5800 instead for longer music plays but i love moto's designs...they're stylish...though i wish they could add more useful features on the phone...and brighter colors too!

I know in US the cables are sold separately, which is available in stores like AT&T...
