The phono is great.Its design is stuning.But the Battery is very very bad.When use the Phone only a lil bit its battery won't last about 7-8 hours.Is there anithing i can do to fix this???

Bought it last week. Very nice and durable. Dropped it on concrete floor the 2nd day. Kept on working no scratches found. Very solid. Sound quality for phone as well as music is very good. Initially was processing slowly but its fine now. Battery life is not very good but if you are looking for battery life go back to black and white screen mobiles. Good to have.

The battery life of this phone was bound to be bad,i honestly don't understand what Moto were thinking putting a seriously weak 770mAh battery into a phone with a CPU clock speed of 500mhz!! Thats like putting a 50litre petrol tank into a Mercedes SL65 AMG, that will never get you far.

I had one of these for a week (took it back today) and only used for 4 days out of that week, it spent the last 3 days in it's box. The battery in these things is pathetic, it wouldnt even achieve 24 hrs on stand by with battery saver activated. As a historically staunch Nokia user was I pleasantly surprised by the useability and the physical strength of the phone. But what use is a phone that won't even last the day. If Motorola fix the battery issues, I will purchase another one without a second thought.

I was fascinated by this Phone and Brought it one day before Christmas, thinking this phone will atleast last me a for a year in my changing spree, but from the day i started to use i got into major Battery problems like i can use only for abt 50-55mins talktime without using any programs,i gave it to Service centre 2 times no use, wat do i do now, pls any1 help me

Great design, NOTHING MORE. Buggy software, slow menus, camera is not soo good as expected, no 3G, no external memory, weak battery. External touch screen works with player ONLY! Not able to customize user interface, side buttons, can't change soft keys anymore, can't change outer screen (motorola logo looks quite ugly). I've been using Motorola phones for years (V50, V66, T720, T722, V525, V3) and now I'm very dissapointed with V8. I think this is the last Motorola phone I have :(

The phone is too big for me. I hope motorolla released another version which is shorter. There's still space at the top which can be removed.

The touchscreen only working when u play music. There are 3 buttons as u can see when u play music with the flip closed. Thats how i figured so far. If u received sms, theres also buttons showed up on the external display, but u can only activate with the left-side shortcut button..

I just got the phone and i see that it says that there is a touchscreen. Mines however doesn't seem to have one. Is there a special way you have to activate the touchscreen?

i have this phone but ive only had it 1 month and the external touch screen went blank and when i took ot back to get fixed the glass had been broken on it, i think that this phone is overpriced as it is just a basic phone with touch screen that is all
