Hi..about to answer your question. i have this fone. I just bought it 5days ago. i dont think it is suitable for u if you often use it at work coz the battery dosnt last longer. is too short actually. i feel dissapointed my self. I read the ppl comments, they say the battery will be improving as we charge it and use it again and again until let say within a week..that is what iam trying now..coz my battery only last 1.5 - 2days with regular use by means less multimedia played. If i can make suggestion for u..i think u should go for Nokia E51. the design is not bad and more business function. Slim, and is metal chrom covered. Nice. And the battery will last about 4 - 5days. I have one my self also.

        The battery in this phone gives alot of problems! Using the phone for about 20 mins in total per day and you have to re-charge the battery every 14 to 18 hrs!!!

                      oh it is kind of possible to make your pictures, videos etc private lol.. on the menu i changed the media files icon to an internet picture and then renamed it 'internet' lol. Then removed the real internet icon off the menu and placed it else where (as i dont use it so it doesnt matter) then to replace the 'real' missing internet, i made a new icon saying media files with the media icon haha, so when you go to enter the fake media its blank lol. None of my friends yet have managed to find my media.. lol.

                        I got the v8 last august, screen went 'dotty' due to 'liquid damage' by october. I dont ever remember dropping it in any kind of liquid, but it wasnt useable. Had to send it off for repair. Over the time i have had it i'm quite pleased with it, camera is really good, video however isnt perfect but still good and you can record for ages. Depending on how much memory you have. I dont have a memory card with it at the moment but i have 73 songs on there about 20 videos all inbetween 2-6 minutes long, and i have about 150 photos. So it comes with pretty good standard memory. And you can get memory cards for this which im getting tomorrow lol.. Its nice looking, easy to use and i like how you can move folders around and rename, and design the menu how you want it and the icons. Only thing that annoys me is that you cant put a password on some applications like 'pictures' etc. But you can on other things which dont need passwords lol. It is impossible to make your pictures and videos private on this phone lol. I love the touch screen on the front to easily skip and pause music, and the little vibration to let you know you've pressed a button lol. Definately my favourite part on this phone, sounds really good too. And the screen is nice and big. Cant stand small diddy screens...I love this phone.. then again flip phones are my favourite type of phones lol. I'd give it an 8/10. Reaaly good phone, oh and if you decide to get a contract phone like me.. dont use phones4u you will seriously regret it. Lol.

                          I just purchased the Motorola Razr 2 V8 phone. My service is with AT&T (was Cingular). I can't send or receive multi-media messages nor get on the internet. Does anyone have the progamming I need to correct this? I subscribe to the service, but can't use. Thank you!

                              @Matt
                              Should be no problem at all with the bluetooth compability. I tried already with Nokia and samsung. It worked well and fast.

                                  the fone is looks great. i have one my self. First i thought i will have no complaint about the phone..but until i found some bad experience with the fone it self. About the less features, less user friendly, no it doest bother me at all, still ok for me..but u know what does really bother me..is the batery life!. I also dont believe my self..this is far below my expectation..really!! First before i used the fone, I charged about 6 hours during the day, to make sure that cell energy is well filled up. then at night, i started to go along the menu, tried this and that, and did entry for the contacts. I also did sms texing about 15-20 sms and did a few short calling, the fact is...HOW COMES THE BATERY IS REDUSED BY 50% ALREADY?? --> I checked from batery meter in the phone setting folder

                                    just bought the fone...its really cool!!..very good design..very good finished..feel very comfortable holding it. Sound for voice call is very clear. But for music is soso..the hing a bit flimsy but is OK i guess..the screen is very clear..this fone is good. The features is not all there but is just fine for me...if u compare with Nokia E51, i think E51 is more worth buying. It has also a slim design, metal chrome covered (looks elegant), the sound for music is much better, and the features is more in it. But i still like my MOTO..is a different kind of taste..;-)

                                      has anyone else noticed this? I've had the v8 for about 2 months now but it seems that the alarm clock volume goes up on its own. When I set it to a certain level such as 4 it will alert at 4 if i hit snooze the next time it goes up a little in volume or maybe even straight to the highest setting. i would just like it to be set to one volume and stay there.
