      Wonderful phone!!
Among the first things that you'll notice about the new RAZR 2 are that it boasts a very shiny shell, a stark contrast to the matte finish found on the original. There's also a huge 2.0-inch color display on the outside, in addition to the 2.2-inch QVGA display on the inside. Other key features include a 2.0 megapixel camera, independent speech recognition, touch music keys, Windows Media 11, a Linux-based UI, HTML Opera browser, up to 280 hours of standby, up to 500 minutes of talk time, and a weight of about 117 grams. Cool ya.

Whatever Moto's detractors might have to say but RAZR has its fan following and nobody should deny that.Razr V8 and V9 are a good answer to N76; and if not priced exorbitantly V8/V9 will not only give the N76 a run for its money but almost get a stranglehold on the clamshell(flip phone)segment of the market.

Imagine moto phones that can hardly do anything sold millions, how about these new moto phones that can really start to do a lot with linux OS?! This phone has the best of both worlds! A fashion icon with some serious OS! even nokia can't be compared with this! Seriously speaking! Most HiTech japanese phones are using Linux and instead of Moto jumping into the Symbian bandwagon they've decided to Blaze new trails! Its most definitely innovative!

come to think about it, high megapixel Cameras are useless, just a 2mpx camera will do fine, haha, the design and other functions are most important

Could you stop please comparing Nokia with motorola I respect Nokia, but i´m tired of your comments this RAZR2 is not even similar to the N76, besides if it is about the RAZR series we are talking about unique finish and materials is pure gold and it is all packed in a wonderfull thin and iconic phone with a unique design keep it up moto thanks for this beauty!

Just a few word to clarify what is really the agenda: check Motorola's stock and sales figures... it says it all. The company's mobile division is haemoraging money, for the past 2 years they have sold more RAZR's than ever but at such a low profit margin.

The style is dating a bit, LG is miles ahead in the design stakes. I like the design, but it's is not enough... there is no big WOW factor like with the original.

Motorola will need a really kick up the ass when this phone fails to win fans.

It is not avaiable anywhere in the wrold yet until the estimated July, which probably means August-September. First, it will hit Hong Kong as most of Motorola's GSM/3G technology phones do, and then make its round to Europe and other parts of Asia, and then USA, if I'm correct, for a stocking stuffer during the holiday seasons. Estimated prices for this phone without a contract will be $500, but probably with MIR and IRs, you will be able to pick up this device for 349.00 on a 2 yr contract. I'm hoping Motorola will really deck this device out. Make an exclusive presentation box as they did for the original RAZRs for the first 1000+ sold. And hopefully, they will include the S9 handset.

                      On a differnet note,
The Motorola RIZR Z8 and Motorola ROKR Z6 will be available around June in Europe. The Z8 is available for preorder on http://www.motorola-shop.co.uk , and it is 334.99 pounds. The Z8 comes boxed with the S9 stereo headphones and an SD card with The Bourne Identity loaded on it. The Z6 comes bundled with the S9 only.

The Motorola Q9 H is available immediately in Italy.

                      Hope this helps.

Hey, to the Excessive Personality Adorer of Nokia. You get what about Motorola ? Motorola is number one and Nokia is number bad. why ?
Nokia : the covers are always plastic, the design is always bricks, bricks, bricks (big, thick, crude), symbian os always runs slow, slow, slow and complicated. More disaponited for Nokia.
But why Nokia is first in rank board. Why ?
Because you are the Excessive Personality Adorer. The cult blind you.
                                  Wait !!! Huh !!!

N series dies within the design and functionality area of this phone.
And it practically suicides as if it were obese and this new RAZR is what is truely fit.
Great phone, even pushing it up to SE competition.
SE's beginning to lose it a bit with the slight changes in position and cards. The new above the face keys are also a bit annoying, but their sliders are great.
This phone wins if it could only work with 3G as well and contained something like 4-8gb of memory.
I wonder why Nokia can't have as much internal memory.
Motorola here proves that if you take a few parts from an iPod nano, anything is possible. They have 2gbs of memory and a slimmer design.
