It randomly switches itself off, even when you think the battery meter is on number 6. I've only had mine less than 2 months and it's broken down. The earpiece and mouthpiece have somehow connected themselves in a loop, so nobody can hear anything i say at all. I also discovered that the vendor sold me a French phone in the uk + motorola would not support it. I'm dealing with the vendor now, so will have to wait and see what they can come up with. I like the phone, but the memory is feable by todays standards. They need to expand the memory, even if it means a new sim with on board memory 50 meg or so.

i bought a razr v3 blk. Its made in singapore. i noticed that the metal case which is stated is not really metal case as the word anodised means that the aluminium is only plated on just like electolysis. ANyway aft charging it, the phone could not be swtiched on. I got a replacement n after talking over the phone for 20 mins. the lcd screen crack. And i got a replacement agn and i noticed that the battery cover could not close properly and that the left top button when press and release will let out a clicking sound. I just could not be bothered to get a replacement and guess i will have to wait for two more yrs to change my phone because i'm tied down to my service provider

Does it scratch easily or at all?
Am looking to buy one and want to know how resistant it is to scratches.

the battery life on mine sucks, and a lot of people ring me up and ask why I havent replied to their messages, even though i have, and the status of the message in the outbox says it's been sent.
It's also very common for me to see *missing text* at the bottom of messages i get sent. It's very frustrating and can't wait to get my new phone, which will NOT be a motorola!

i just wanted to say that the razr v3 doesn't have 256K colers it has barely 65k to my opinion (i own the black v3) my v500 had a better screen then this one. part from the screen is the phone really nice and cool. and you can send, receive messages and make a call so what more do you need? :-|

I have it for some time and i am not too satisfied because the battery seems to get lower and lower very fast and in max 2 days or one day and half i have to recharge it back.I speak around 20-25 minutes per day,this isnt much and i am asking you how long the battery meter holds for you guys?!

i had the phone for a year and then it fell from me and malfunction so i ordered a new one because this phone is my baby and i really dont want to learn a different phone

i think it is very cool phone espically its thikness and it this phone contain what we really need as first calss bluetooth

Coffee did you not get mobilephone tools with your phone? That's strange cause I did. If that's expensive to buy you could always buy a bluetooth adaptor for your computer and send files to and from your V3 via bluetooth. You can get adaptors for about £7 over the internet

why oh why wont the F***ING thing charge, love the way it flashes a blue keypad to remind me that its doing F*** all, what a great purchase, dont care about phones doing laa de daa bulls*it i just want it to turn on and send a txt, any ideas? or am i going to have to take a chainsaw to its wonderfully sleek desighn (sarcasm)

I found it i think. Open the multimedia button at the side of phone tools and some windows open telling me how to do it.
All good so far.
I have noticed the battery goes down very quickly when its pluged to my pc and sometimes when i scroll through lists like ring tones, the screen seems to freeze for a second then jump down a few list but other than that i am very happy with mine for now

I got a disk with the phone and loaded it to my pc. I can make calls send texts and access the web.
granted i havnt spent much time with it but there doesnt seem to be an obvious way of doing it
Anybody give me some instructions please

I just totally agree with you. I have mine now for months and no problem at all. Transfering video or MP3 to ur phone is possible. For what i know from Luke, we have to install this software called "Mobile phonetools". But we have to purchase it from the motorola site thou. After that, we now able to transfer files to the phone using the USB data cable. Does anybody know some other way? thx..

Hi all
I was a bit shocked at some posts here to do with faults and problems with the V3.
I have only had mine a few days now and so far everything is ok.
What i want to do or know if the phone will, is to send pics onto my pc or download pics from my pc. Is that possable with the V3?
and can i download vidios from my pc to the phone?

Could you please help me.
Has any1 experiensed that v3 blk just switched off out of blue. Its brand new one, but started to behave this way. While the phone is still its cool, but as soon as i put it in my pocket and walk its switching off, well you can switch it on soon, but it freaks me out. has anybody have such a thing with this phone?

Every1 needs to kno that this phone will heat up from time to time and will get very slow depending on how you use it.
Please note that the phone is VERY thin in that matter it has to work 3 times as hard to get it functioning properly.
With the MP3 stuf...If you have got the USB...u can just plug everything up...NO NEED FOR PROGRAM...then go to my computer...then go to the usb drive...then simply go to any file in your documents or were ever and right click the...then go to "send to" then click on The USB drive.
