I agree with Nelson about his V3 review. I bought my unit as soon as it came out (before him). I change cell phones every 3 months but I am still in love with my V3.Yes, there are small features that I am used from Nokia and SonyEricsson but the overall perfomance and look beats my previous phones that I had. Take care guys

I recently bought a V3 a month ago. I came from Nokia 6600 and secondary line w/ motorola V551. So far I'm quite satisfied w/ my V3. There is no video recording but I can bluetooth the video recording from my nokia. My battery lasts me 2-3 days. I will play with the v3's mp3 when I'm bored. Talking on the cell using my V3 for hours. Never had a problem with the battery life. The only negative was the volume from the earpiece. Its quite muffled compared to my Nokia 6600. But I got use to the volume. It doesn't give me a headache when I'm done using it unlike the other cell that I have.

Giving up on the V3....
Got a V3 for 8 months, love the hardware but the loussy software is driving me nuts, switching back to Nokia
Everybody knows that Motorola got the best hardware (though not perfect) and crappy software. If you prefer the the best software but crappy hardware try Nokia....
Or you could go for the compromise candidate Samsung: mediocre hardware and software...
Nokia got ONE big hardware advantage though, the transflective coulour screen that actually works even in direct sunshine!!
My recomandation is get a Nokia, and keep your old phone as a spare for use every time your nokia is in for repairs...

Own this excellent phone EXCEPT that the Mobile Phone Tools to synchronise Outlook Contacts and Calendar is not only primitive but also defective. So, those who need to synchronise should read the forum at www.bvrp.com. Be advised.

The screen on my V3 went out today. I can't see who's calling or who I'm dialing. Does anyone know where I can get this fixed? Thanks.

Have had the V3 about a week. Charged 5 days ago and still has full battery. Best phone I've had EXCEPT, vibate mode is so soft I cannot feel it in my front pants pocket.
Would miss calls if I did not also have ring on.
Does anyone know if vibrate motion is adjustable?

another thing, I've read that the V3 get hot and burnt things and you (whoever keep this site taking it off!) It's a serious thing that people need to know or else there will definitely be a fire related damage from this model.

This has got to be the most hyped phone on the market. Other than its appearance which is top drawer, everything is a dissappointment I have had this for a month and am prepared to throw it away. Problems. Hard to read the keypad in the light of day. Battery life that will not last one day. A software glitch that will not allow you to open your addressbook should you by error fail to enter a name or if you enter a number as the name. Alpha Names are ok, but anything else will not allow you to open the contacts. In order to delete an entry like this, you have to remember the position number, then save a new entry to that position by holding down one key for five seconds. Otherwise it will tell you that the position is already taken. There are other glitches but you get the point. Rlaksi

Very unique and thin phone. Something for gadget freaks. Definetly a phone for people who like an empty feeling in there pockets. This phone may look small and htin when it is closed but when it is flipped. Walla! Rosy o'donnel. Its good to get now cuz its free wit new activation from cingular. Comes in black(expensive) or silver(less)
