to John Pfeiffer:
I had the same problem recently and found MOBILedit! It did perfectly what you need and much more. It manages contacts, files, messages and works with many makes and models.

I just got this phone. Mostly I do not use the phone manufacturers software as it is poor quality but I need to transfer my data form a Nokia. Anyone knows good software to do this?

This is an excellent phone, top notch build and design quality. Please e-mail me @ skatemur@gmail.com to get one for just $40! From the sleek exterior to the chemically etched keypad, this is an awesome piece of machinery with a great easy to use Motorola OS.

I just got the Black V3! I am consumed by other people asking me about it. In fact SOOO many people have never even seen it and I live in New York City. It's a beautiful design I must say. But does not feel as snug in my hand nor as comfortable while using to my face as my V600.
The OS is definatly modifide and the screen is much bigger. I can see detail on some of my pics, I had to focus before on the V600. I also knoticed a much better signal than my V600. Good reception in same spots I ALWAYS get dropped with my V600.
The Camera is ok, basic (same as V600) so you see the pixels more cause your screen is bigger. BUT! Guess what! YES IT HAS VIDEO RECORDING! It was a Very nice suprise since the specs don't tell you anywhere I can see online that it does.

the black razor V3 is absolute rubbish. I left it out in the sun for ten minutes and it has left a disgusting smell on the screen which will not disappear. Basically do not buy it and get something more value for money as this phone simply isnt

The Motorola V3 is a very elegant and stylish phone and it is well worth the money. I have had it for awhile now and have no intentions of selling it. Everything on it is superb. The only thing I do not like is the fact there is no video recording device with the phone like I was told but apart from that a truly superb phone

I just bought the v3 a week ago and so far no problems. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by the screen quality (very sharp and vibrant) The call quality is very good but obviously depends on the reception. Bluetooth syncs very easily with mac os x and you can dl pictures and mp3s onto the phone (no driver needed) The phone does not have a video capability but the camera is decent. All menu options and main keys can be reassigned to your liking. Overall it took me an hour to learn how to navigate thru the phone. (read the instructions!) The phone quality seems excellent (very nice construction and materials) and it feels very high end. There is an obvious difference in comparison to my samsung a670. Although 5mb seems like very little memory, it actually seems like enough for pictures and caller id photos. One more thing Motorola does sell a wired earpiece that jacks into the mini usb - so you don't have to buy the bluetooth earpiece! Oh yeah the menu layout is not as bad as it seems (again read the instructions). Overall this phone is the best looking phone out and though it lacks a 1.3 mp camera it works AS A PHONE. ( i got it for $50 so it was a good deal for me)

Is there a recall on the V3? The back gets so hot it deformed the plastic that was underneath the phone! I think it's a fire hazard! Other units I've used tends to get pretty hot during charge too. Becareful where you place the phone when you're charing it!

Pros: Well-built phone, small, nice main display
Cons: UI is slooow for a phone at this price, somewhat limited memory given its video capability, no 'profile' function, price
