The motorola v3 is just simply amazing! I mean like aircraft-grade aluminium and copper alloy PRECISION CUT keypad! How sexy does that sound? I just love my V3 even though it cost £500! Have u seen the advert on tv for it? Like omg! how sophisicated does it look? all the thin things the laptop and plasma tv, and then everything folds and the woman picks up the v3 and the keypad flips and spins on the fone, simply superb!
Ok now for the downsides! The glitches! The operating software, like come on motorola u can do better than that! Its lazy! acts like a drunken elephant when u ask it to do anything. And there a 1-2 second delay on the key presses,i find this delay is only in the menus, not texting (relief!) texting is a dream, so simple! on the beautiful keypad. The second glitch is the 5Mb memory! Come on motorola ur having a laugh arent ya! 5Mb! its a crying shame! Its not fair that all those PLASTICY nokias have more memory and MEMORY CARDS SLOTS! Motorola should have thought about these glitches. Apart from these knockbacks you will be buying the most beautiful phone in the world! When you see the metal, YES BRUSHED METAL sliding box it comes in, you know your in for something special. Lift the metal beauty (V3) in ur hand and u feel that its very very special, flip it open and run your finger down the copper alloy precision cut keypad and you will never set it down! The functions are good although some fones are better. You have (Bluetooth, VGA camera, MPEG4 Video playback, MP3 player/ringtones, 265K internal screen, 4K external screen, Handsfree speakerphone, JAVA games) Buy this fone if u want 2 look like a celebrity! Believe me you wont be disappointed to own this little multimedia marvel!

To Big Pimpa-nope..just the ones you select.

To Hotte_lipz_71-actually, I live near MCU..bit I study in UP...anyway, do you know if the D500 is already out in the country?

      To JonnyB-the 6260 feels cheap...and it's huge!

Today I almost bought it. I tried 2 new sets but the voice quality is not very good when comparing with my T39m. The voice from the earpiece is not very clear. The conencted side also said my voice over the phone is not as clear as my T39m.

I love the form factor, but voice quality is the most important thing that I consider. Fianlly I turned down.

        Any idea why so bad?

nokia's design is like junk to the max! maybe the functional quality is good. I'd never ever buy a mtorola or nokia in my life. The V3 is not that small or light, it's too wide! nothing special about this phone otherwise being expensive for plain VGA camera and other motorola fuctions.....

Boo on expensive phones that don't do anything.

I liked the idea of this phone in its underground phase, but when it premiered at almost $1000 and dropped to around $500 with Cingular's sub-par, AT&T wannabe service, I completely lost interest.

And then to learn that it has the SAME features as the Moto V600 which was already out?

So yeah, if you've got $500 to blow on a titanium phone, then go for it. People will just think you're superficial and shallow. No biggie. :)

Instead of this phone, I recommend the Nokia 6260 smartphone. Not only does it do everything that most Moto's in general DON'T do, (vibeANDring, video recording, etc.) it does MORE and it's cheaper.

To pay more for it's looks may jack your bling, but will jack your stupidity with it.

I think of my V3 as the Lincoln navigator of fones. To samfisher A lincoln Navigator is nicer than a hummer!

sorry to say but i dont think much of a cadillac Escallade. now if it were a hummer with 26in giovannas then that would be different although the hummer is an ex army car which essentially makes it useful. But thats irrelivent

To Hotte_lipz_71-hmm...if you don't want another E398, get the E630...or try the A780...just don't get the K700i...and you can get an FM radio for the E398 for a very small price, and I don't really think there's any use for the video player since you can't even see them clearly...they're too small to make a difference anyway. Hehe. Oh, i see, MCU's very near our place...

To Samfisher-exactly! This phone is just for bling! It's like getting a Cadillac Escalade...you don't get it because it's exceptionally good, you get it because it's beautiful.
