i have this phone and the battery life is really gud. it lasts abotu 12 days on standby. i guess it lasts that long cuz i dunt use my phone a lot. wat i want 2 no is if i can put songs on dis phone. another gud thing about this phone is da camera. the images are really gud. umm....so far i've had dis phone for about 3 months and der hab been no problems at all. i advise that if u dunt take care of dis phone den dunt get it on a contract just buy it fully. the design is really gud looking. i have da black one.

my boyfriend just got me the razar v3 and i used it twice and now it turns on and people can ring me but notink eles can happen please help me

I got the V3 about 2 months ago, and it turns off when i shut the lid to hard, so i have to do it really gentle, and also when i put the phone down on something it also turns off, its like the slightest little knock and the stupid thing turns off! Is this a bad conection with the battery or i have just got a bad model? anyway, if anyone has this problem send us an email. X-ile

hello everyone, i have a v3 the cosmic blue edition (over seas) any ways when i push the keypad and place the phone on my ear i hear a static/vibration noise as the nubmer pad is being pressed. i also hear it when i am speaking to someone. does anyone what i am talking about?
can anyone help (i am located in the US) will motorola fix it since i have a one year manufactures warranty?

I juz got this phone recently from my boyfriend.My v3 actually is pink in colour (limited edition).The vibrant colour really impress me.I'm very satisfy with this phone because it has lots of function.u actually can take a self potrait when the flip is closed.Anyway the only bad thing is the memory is too limited.Other than that this actually is a great phone.Love it!!!

ok you have named every single phone i have had in the past in that precise order.... every single one sucks...specially the MPX220 which was taken off our shelf twice because of BUGS and i personally swapped mine out 5 times throught the warranty.... the razr is a solid phone period... and if you want an even better phone WITH OUT BUGS then i recommend the SLVr i'v never owned a phone that have actually worked the way is supposed to until i got this phone...and so far I HAVE YET TO TAKE A RETURN ON A SLVR...100% recommended

let's me honest here.
the razr hasn't broken sales records because its a good phone. there r tons of motos that have way better performance, v635, mpx220, rokr e1 just to name a few.
its broken records because people are drawn to its style n thinness, they don't properly research or compare the phone.
i've had one and believe me, i was not impressed.
had a v620 also n preferred that tremendously.

I've just buy a RAZR v3 from 2 days and I cannot make it to vibrate.
I have try setting all the styles provided by the menu but it doesn't work .
The batteries is the problem or ....?
Could anybody help me please !

it does not have expandable memory but the new one v3i does

This phone hardley has any memory im just wondering if i can get a memory card for it so i can put more songs on to it. Can someone please write back to me so they can tell me cause i really want to buy one.

caz if it is only the v3 you have and not the i or x then cut your losses now. are you aware of the memory shortage on this phone i would get yourself something like a k750i or d600 i've had this phone it looks wonderful but i had two songs on it and memory was full. get yourself something stylish and functional

Ok, i have just purchased this phone the (pink one) now in actual fact is this or is this not a good phone..... I have never had motorola before and i am currently using hte samsung d500, and have no problems... so before the deal falls thro can some tell me if its a cool phone or not.

wether or not you charge your battery properly in the beginning is not life or death it used to be with old batteries on the likes of the nokia5100 but with the new lithium ion batteries it will make very little difference so dont rush out buying a new battery. your battery life should improve each time it is totally drained and recharged

get with the program its a phone! you want a camera buy one u wanta mp3 player buy an ipod u want a video recorder buy one! all u guys are complaining and i bet you all fill the memory with photos and video... save your contacts on the sim mine holds 1,000 (smart Philippines)and phone memory is vacant! THINK ABOUT IT GUYS

I recently purchased the Razr V3, I was having problems with the phone going dead after only using the phone a few times. It seemed that the battery was bad. I would charge it at night and take it off about 7am, by 1pm it was dead and needed recharged. Also, the bluetooth Jabra wasn't working properly. There was a lot of static. I went to my service center and they exchanged it out for a new phone and it works a lot better. The battery still only lasts about 12 hours and I only make 4-5 phone calls all lasting around 15 minutes. It seems to interfere with my radio when i have it plugged in to the car charger??? has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know if my battery should be lasting longer. I think i read where someone only has to charge their phone every 5 days????

Please stop asking "how do I use the mp3?" this phone is not a music player, you might have read that it has mp3 ringtones, meaning it can support ringtones with mp3 format, but it will hardly play an entire song at all. It's internal memory is only 5.5 MB, mind you it's not expandable. A single song of good quality (bitrate) will range from 3.5 MB - 7MB. Don't hope for a music player, if you do, buy something else.

Yo to the person who said that their fone shuts down a lot and that motorolas suck...its becuz ur a noob and didn't charge your battery for 10 hours immediately when you bought your fone. the reason your fone kept shutting down was becuz the battery was bad, absolutely nothing to do with ur fone itself.. and I'll admit that cingular service is sometimes very weak and that they feed u some bs sometimes, but you could have found that online and solved the problem with a new battery.
Anyways I love my razr, I had the dust under the screen problem, but I contacted the warranty people and they send me a brand new problem free fone in under 24 hours. great fone.
