About the speaker thing I checked mine and also my friend's mobile they don't seem to suffer from this problem. The only thing I didn't like about this mobile is that you will have to copy one by one all your phonebook or if you copy from sim ti phone all the no. will come twice. Do you have the same problem out there?

No matter how fashionable you are/you think this phone would make you STEER WELL CLEAR its very bad i have a z500 and to transfer a 5 MB mp3 from my phone to my friends v3 it takes like half an hour,the loud speaker is poor,bad camera,cant even record video,the memory is small,its very wide and personally i consider it ugly,at least its somewhat light,DO NOT,i repeat DO NOT get it.Doesn't worth it.Unless you're a chick,then yeah,get the pink vers.

hi,
i hav ebeen using this ph for a week now everything is good except for the txt msg space, i think for some strang ereason its storing my TXT msgs on the sim which only allows like 23 txts to be stored, i was wondering if there was a way to get arnd this problem ? may be some way i could store my txt msgs on the phone , i m sure it can store a whole lot more than 23 ! :) ,
plz help me ppl !

I've had this phone for three months, and I think it's horrible. It looks great, but sucks otherwise. I have to delete my text messages manually whenever the inbox gets to 20. It won't do it automatically, eventhough I have set the feature to do so. When I delete a picture, the phone sends me to another area in the phones menu. There is constant buzzing in the earpiece, the phone will randomly shut off, and the speakerphone doesn't always work.
This phone will be a good backup for the SE w810i I get when it comes out.

I have had my motorola RAZR V3 for about a month now.. the only problem that i have with it is that the earpeice constantly buzzes. Apart from that the phone is great, ive had no other problems yet.

bad speaker....and the inbuilt video scrap.. bluetooth transfer takes a lot of time.. memory very bad...only thing is thelook excellent...

Something that motorola hasn't told us is that all there razr's or at least most of them are defected. THey all buzz in the earpiece, talking on the phone or not. Motorola wont admit this problem, but all the razr atleast here in NEW york make a buzzing noise in the earpiece. Phone is horrible same software as the older motorola. Oh they added video, for 9 secods. BIG WOW!!!

hello,can sum1 tell me if there is a way to save your messages to your sim card? i locked certain messages n id love to transfer them to my sim card jus in case i switch my phone...holla back at my email address or gsm txt me at 18768594461. thnx!

i don't understand why people like this phone so much...theres nothing good about it. Standard VGA camera, wide but thin phone, no memory card... nothing so special about it and cingular is still charging 99.99 when you can get it for free with a 150 dollar rebate in queens if you live in NY

**stu**: the reason why you can't store pictures and sounds in your SIM entries is that SIMs don't support it. I don't think there is a way around it. I'd reccomend to store everything in Phone meory and often copy whole phonebook from Phone to SIM. This way you'll have a backup (still without pictures and sounds).

On my new razr the battery door fits poorly. There is a gap on the right edge and cover is slightly ajar letting in dust. Is this me only or is it a common problem?

its really bad dont, even recording camera and the man from link said it does
im a previous user of moto but all i can say is bye bye moto.

just bought this phone in black from fones4u, it was £120 with a bluetooth headset worth £50. anybody thinking of getting this phone i would definatly recommend, the version i have has got the video recorder feature, and for the amount of money you can get a lot worse fone, it has all the good features mp3, bluetooth, video, camera quick gprs access, only downside is the memory space, i have only had it 3 days and i have nearly filled up the memory, but all in all a great phone i would rate it 9/10

HELP.......I have just got this phone after having SonyEricsson and i have an issue that i need help with. When i save a name in teh phonebook, in order to add pictures and tones to that person i must save it as a phone entry. This means that if i remove the sim card and put it into another phone i have no contact details on there. Is there a way round this???????

I got this phone a month ago, it looks good but the battery life is not as expected. Also I got problem in downloading music. It's a crap. don't suggest to buy.

I too had the problem of corrupt file when putting an mp3 on the razr.
I figured out how to encode an mp3 that the razr likes. The following settings on itunes worked for me:
Stereo bit rate: 32 kbps
uncheck use variable bit rate encoding
sample rate: 22.050 Hz
Channels: Stereo
Stereo mode: Normal
check smart encoding adjustments
check filter frequencies below 10 Hz

yes u can use the speaker feture when the phone is closed i use it and love it ok
