I got Razer V3 black about 2 days before.I am trying to download mp3 and midi files over bluetooth from my friend mobile.After the download completed it gives an error "File is corrupt". Can anybody know the solution. Should i upgrade the software?

I also just picked up a Motorola Razer V3 Black a week ago, and was having loading MP3 ringtones and midi over bluetooth.When it suddenly started throwing the "File is Corrupt" error as soon as the transfer finished.I tried to go back to load some downloaded ones, and I got the same error for those. Since then I've tried transferring files that worked before, as well as sending files from Ineternet,When it downloaded the file give me the massage that File is downloaded but i cannot find the file and used space is same like before.Seems like it will no longer accept any MP3 files. I tried a couple MIDIs, and those don't work either, giving me the same "File is Corrupt" error. I can still send and receive pictures without a problem between both my PC and other phones.

Here's my problem:
I just picked up a Motorola Razer V3 a week or so ago, and was having fun loading MP3 ringtones over bluetooth and trying to make my own ringtones when it suddenly started throwing the "File is Corrupt" error as soon as the transfer finished. I thought this was simply my not encoding the MP3 properly as it had worked fine until I started trying to make my own. At first, downloaded ringtones continued to work while the ones I made threw the error. I could even re-encode d-loaded MP3 ringtones for lower bitrates without and save them to my phone with out a problem. After spending hours tweaking Audacity, Razor Lame, etc, I tried to go back to load some downloaded ones, and I got the same error for those. Since then I've tried transferring files that worked before, as well as sending files from my brother's D500, which I originally sent to him directly from my phone, with no luck. Seems like it will no longer accept any MP3 files. I tried a couple MIDIs, and those don't work either, giving me the same "File is Corrupt" error. I can still send and receive pictures without a problem between both my PC and other phones.
Did I do something to screw my phone over? I've searched the web and found forum posts about this problem but no solid solution, much less, a reason why it happens.
I've removed all MP3s that I previously loaded. I did have some trouble with the phone not wanting to delete the MP3s (as it would just dump me back to the main menu), but it finally did with persistence and selecting multiple files for deletion at once. Also, in a shot-in-the-dark attempt, I deleted my java games based on a single suggestion at one forum. Yes, I'm getting desperate. So far nothing has worked.
Sorry if this was already discussed in a previous thread. I couldn't find one addressing this exact problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

motorola razr v3 has not enough memory its ok if u will make it 20mb but motorola pls release in the philippines market the motorola razr v3i im really xcited about it...

what happend to moto, when u connect a freehand or headset to moto, in BT mode, all the ringtones are swiched to a default tone, included midi, mp3, or someting else.
in the version RAZR V3 & V3 Black
V3 + BT / Ringtone = expensive gadget

WE have a verizon v3c razor. Works great except that it will not keep time. The time display does not refresh. We have looked in the setting and called verizon, no help there. We also called motorola ditto on the no help. Now they are playing "blame tennis" delightful......

d back cover it's hard to open and it's poorly done...it sticks out on the bottom.. and 3 of my friends have the same problem......brought to the shop where i got it...and they said it supposed to be like dat...well a good phone should be smooth.....it's crap

Does anyone else have problems with the bluetooth on this phone it can never seem to find devices, even if the device is right next to the phone and if i send photos from another phone to the v3 it always says, to large to open and it really botheres me, and also my backlight on the keypad stopped working after a week or so of buying the phone. This phone looks great, but looks can be decieving!

Gansta Moto, cool off. Not everyone can be as tech savvy as us.
Greg/Simone, I respect your opinion but the I had sprint service Samsung VGA 1000, Sanyo 8100, LG V125, I have a moto a780 and a Razr V3. There is this spot about 1.5 miles from my house that no one I know gets service. The Razr works great @ that spot.
While I agree that the Razr looks cool, it serves its purpose, for me is just a backup phone.

To apply a song u've uploaded... just go to Themes in ur multimedia folder (click the multimedia icon in menus)... scroll to ur song... options... apply as ringtome.
SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!

It's so complicated! Can anyone tell me how I can use a song I've uploaded from my PC as a ring tone. there are no instructions in the manual ans it vertainly isn't obvious - well not to me anyway!

yes you can close the phone after activating the speakerphone.
