This phone is the best, although it has not much memory it has great functions! My last phone was the NEC e313, i was embarresed to answer it when someone rings because it it is like a brick, it is huge.....but now i got the motorola v3 i love it when i answer it because it looks so good...probably the best looking phone ever!

Well, it's pretty enough, and I love the large display and keyboard, that much I could see in the shop. But after using it for a couple of weeks...
* The predictive texting really sucks compared to my last 2-year-old Nokia. No, I don't just mean it's different, I mean it's not nearly as good.
* 5.5mb of memory, and it bleats about being nearly full when I have only 60 SMS (about 10K) in the in+outbox (no attachments)? What whose bright idea was that?
* It seems to be able to send and receive pictures with my GF's phone, but both of them refuse to open the other's messages. UNIMPRESSED!
* Every time I connect to my PC via USB, I have to reinstall the software! The software disappoints as it completely bypasses all the stored SMS messages in the in/outboxes. It's nice to be able to type SMS's on my PC (given the slightly naff predictor), BUT do they really think I'm going to pay for the 'full' version just to be able to send more than 160 chars at a time? No, the demo version is far too iffy for that. It did let me back-up my contacts list though.
All that whingeing aside, it's a nice, reliable phone with some good features, I'll keep it a bit longer.

o come on the phont is looks great appart from the size its just too big, ye it might be slim but its so longs and wide your payin for the look of this phone because there arent alot of features.. and 5MB memory o come on motorola. i had this phone for 2 month and then sold it cos cameras crap, and so is the memory... but i fink it looks better in black it makes it look and feel smaller, well just because i dont like it i recomemd you go to a phone shop and take a look at the dummy versions. i fink its just a lil bit bigger than a credit card when flipped down.

the v3 is big when flipped open, but its not massive by any means. Its soooooooo slim! like f**king hell man! ok to the person who wants to buy this or a d500.
in may i changed this phone and went and bought a silver d500. i loved the v3s design, but theres not much features inside it. i went for the d500 because of its features, i liked the design of the d500 at the time, but now ive went off it, its too fat. but of course any phone is fat compared to the v3, but seriously its too big and bulky, al plasticy, lackis the quality feel of the v3. if you want my opinion, the v3i is comming out in a couple of weeks, go 4 it, it will b dearer than trhe standard v3, but its got d500 features and v3 design + MEMORY CARD SLOT! YAY! if you cannot stretch to the v3i, go for the v3 you wont regret it.
and as i have said before, go for the silver v3, not the hideous pink version

The Razr is the most awesome phone I have ever had. It's size, functionality and ease of use make it a dangerous weapon for nayone that needs to be on the go and do more than take a snapshot and send it to a friend (although it will do that too). It's sleek, light, durable and offers a great alternative to bulky PDA-like phones such as Treo and Blackberry. Want cutting edge go razr....want a pda or organizer buy one. This is the top phone out there period!
